Proceed with caution: Dr. Schott perscribed Levofloxacin to my 77 yr. old mom for a sinus infection with this WARNING: Fluoroquinolones, including LEVAQUIN?, are associated with an increased risk of tendinitis and tendon rupture in all ages. This risk is further increased in older patients usually over 60 years of age...Within a week, she was almost immobile, now walks with with a walker & has a decreased quality of life. 4 other people have been diagnosed with the same thing just in their town
