My care with Dr. Oh began with surgery to remove multiple, difficult to remove ovarian tumors. I am very thankful for his skill and care during the surgery process and the following chemotherapy treatment at his Texas Oncology Plano West clinic. He is compassionate and clear in explaining treatment options and decisions I need to make. His team of nurses and office staff is excellent. I am grateful to be Dr. Oh's patient. My family physician referred me to him with high praise.

Dr. Oh was my first oncologist. He diagnosed my ovarian cancer in May of 2019, performed my complete hysterectomy and guided me through my subsequent 18 weeks of chemotherapy. I still see him about every 6 months, and have him to thank for my having single digit CA125 numbers in the past three and a half years. He was and is totally professional, giving me all the unvarnished facts I need to know about the progress of my cancer battle. He spends all the time I need to ask questions and/or express any concern. He is always the most insightful, consistent and proactive doctor, and I am so very fortunate to have found him to bring me through this journey.

Dr. Oh treated me two different times for ovarian cancer with surgery followed by chemo. I would highly recommend his expertise. Great Surgeon, obviously very knowledgeable with a caring and understanding personality. Pleased to be cancer free for the past 5 years!

Dr. Oh was on time. He performed an exam and said see you next year. I did not have any questions or problems since the surgery.

Where to begin… Dr. Oh saved my life. I was unexpectedly diagnosed with Primary Peritoneal Cancer and he made the whole treatment process the least stressful it could possibly be. I’m not sure where I’d be had I gone with the first opinion. He approached my care aggressively and kept me well informed every step of the way. I love doctors with an awesome bedside demeanor like his. He doesn’t sugar coat anything and is very matter of fact. I think that’s really important in a doctor working in this field. I did extensive homework before choosing an Oncologist and he was the best fit for me. He’s got to have magic hands because post surgery healing was speedy as all heck. I can’t thank him and his staff enough. If you get to work with his nurse Paige, she’s so helpful while being a joy to talk to. Thank you for helping me see remission!!!

On 2/15/22, I had a complete hysterectomy at 10 o'clock in the morning and could get out of my bed without any pain at noon. Everything was perfect, my incisions did not bruise, and I have had no pain whatsoever. Thank you, Doctor Oh

Dr. Oh and his team are stellar. As a patient, it is important to take accountability for your own wellness and to do your research to inform which doctor you select and how you would like to be treated medically. Dr. Oh is not warm and fuzzy, but he is candid, efficient, honest, very knowledgeable, an excellent surgeon, and genuinely strives to do his best to care for you. I have an extremely rare form of cancer. He has gone above and beyond in order to ensure we could do surgery in a timely manner, has the knowledge and skill to execute the treatment plan, but has also had the humility to discuss my case with numerous other medical experts in the field to validate his approach. Despite the amount of knowledge he has, he is not afraid to say “I don’t know.“ His lack of ego is refreshing, and his humility and candor is a rarity among Medical professionals that perform at his level.

I am 46 years old and have had health issues since The Day I was Born. I just had my 28th Surgery in December 2021. To my knowledge, Dr. Oh is the 3rd Doctor, EVER , to actually ASK If He could do an Exam! I really appreciated that He remembered that I am a Person first, and not just a Body to be treated! I am exceptionally grateful to have had Dr. Jonathan Oh as my cancer surgeon and follow up oncologist for the past four years. Dr. Oh has a very professional and knowledgeable relationship with all his patients, and understands the needs his patients have for his expertise in all areas of gynecological oncology. He is first rate, and I am lucky to have him for my doctor. He also has employed a first rate staff to be his nurses and lab technicians.

Absolutely! I was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in 2013, returned 2014 and 2017. He surgically removed tumors with treatments afterwards. Presently we monitor my situation with regular appointments and labs. He listens and respects my thoughts and opinions. Three years ago I moved to the other side of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I could go to a closer Texas Oncology but that would mean changing Doctors which I have no desire to do. I have complete confidence in the care Dr. Oh and his support staff give me and highly recommend his care.

My diagnosis was a low blow. I immediately got anxiety and was feeling depressed. My gyn recommended Dr. Oh and I am so glad she did. Dr. Oh was very straight forward with me and my options. He ran several tests to confirm the diagnosis and to check for spread. Dr. Oh took great care of me. I ended up choosing a surgical approach and Dr. Oh did phenomenal work! Very pleased with him and would definitely recommend him and his OR assistant.

If I can give this doctor a negative number, I would. He is absolutely horrible. My elderly mom had an appointment with him. My sister-in-law was with her as she doesn't speak English well. I was on speaker phone so I can hear what's being said and ask questions. After he came in, we were discussing the issues and the best course of treatment for my mom. We needed to get all the information so I can relay it to her so she can understand it and make the best decision. He started getting impatient and basically saying we're wasting his time and our time! At one point, after he spoke with my mom directly, I wanted to take a minute and make sure she understands her options clearly. I started to explain to my mom her options but my sister-in-law informs me that he WALKED OUT of the room!! Unbelievable! What kind of a doctor walks out as you're talking?! I don't care if you have another patient... you finish with the current patient before abruptly walking out. Stay away from this man! If I can give this doctor a negative number, I would. Dr Jonathan Oh performed by procedure and it was successful however his medical staff is very rude and his nurse did not want to complete my FMLA paperwork, did not return voicemails promptly and acted as if I was troubling her to do her job. The scheduler Kim was equally rude and sarcastic and after paying over $30k for the procedure I would expect the office staff to be more cordial. If I could do it all over again, I would choose another doctor.

Very knowledgeable and I trust his treatment,. His staff is awesome and anything I did not understand they explained it to me. From my first diagnosis until my NED( no evidence of disease) Dr. Ohh was right on with the treatments needed.

I have been a patient of Dr Oh going on four years, with a diagnosis of Ovarian cancer. He and his office staff Paige Rn & Jennifer MA have always been very helpful & caring. I am very fortunate to have Dr Oh as my oncologist & surgeon, I trust his judgement completely.

Dr Oh performed a laparoscopic hysterectomy on me. The surgery went very well and I had very little discomfort afterwards. He answered all my questions before and after surgery with kindness and patience. I would highly recommend him.

I wish I could give a 1 star for customer service. Had a total hysterectomy and the after care has been atrocious! Doctor Oh is very short with me and has no bedside manner. I have damage to my bladder been tested for all types of infections and there are none yet pain persists everytime I unrinate. I am unable to be seen by any urologist in the city because I haven’t been postop 6 months. Dr Oh takes zero responsibility and said the following “we didn’t touch your bladder maybe things are jumbled up still”. My normal was no pain preoperative then that should still be my normal. I wish my OB had never referred me to him because it seems if you don’t have cancer you’re not regarded at this office. I wish I could give a 1 star for customer service. Dr. Oh is considered the best in our city and it shows. He talks you through the facts of what you're dealing with and is very professional. Dr. Oh performed a total hysterectomy on my wife almost 2 wks ago and her recovery is amazing. Other than some soreness, she said that she has had little to no pain from the procedure. Dr. Oh and his team are exceptional and we would highly recommend him. We feel very lucky that we were referred to him.

Dr Oh is awesome. He's my dr since 2008 and I am so grateful. When finding out that I had Stage 3 Ovarian cancer, my regular GYN sent me to him saying he was the BEST. I agree. He is professional and caring.

Dr. Oh performed the following service on me on January 30, 2018: Exploratory laparotomy, exploratory celiotomy with or without biopsy (s) (separate procedure). Bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy with omentectomy, total abdominal hysterectomy and radical dissection for debulking. Dr. Oh removed a large residual fibroid tumor from my left ovary. The tumor was attached to my bladder, vagina and rectum. It was because of Dr. Oh's extensive knowledge of and vast experience in his specialized medical field that this surgery was successful. I felt reassured by his commitment to being thorough in his findings through multiple biopsies by Pathologists. Dr. Oh' s interaction with me and family members was calming, precise and encouraging. Dr. Jonathan C. Oh saved my life. After being diagnosed with uterine cancer, it was difficult finding a doctor that would help me. I had been bleeding for years, enemic, almost dying, with other health problems, so they said I was a bad candidate for surgery. Dr. Jonathan C. Oh said he did surgery on patients worse than me with good results, so I told him what procedure I wanted, he scheduled a appointment immediately, this was in 2014, he did the type of procedure I requested, which was a choice of robotic or standard, I woke up a new person, there were no problems afterward, and have not had any problems since, good checkups, and he has excellent checkup following. Dr. Oh is an excellent surgeon. He operated on my wife to remove an ovarian cyst from each of her ovaries. It was laparoscopic surgery. It was amazing! The operation itself took only 30 minutes. The total time we were on site was only 4 hours. No overnight stay. No nausea or vomiting post-operatively. One thing that amazed me in a good way was this. He had said he would make three small incisions to do the work. When my wife and I got home, we could only find two.

I have been with Dr. Oh for 6 1/2 years. He did my initial surgery has been excellent since. He always welcomes my many questions.

I had a great experience with Dr. Oh and his team. They all went out of their way to make me comfortable before and after surgery. His up-front approach and attitude made me feel confident in his ability to treat me. Thanks Dr. Oh!

Dr. Oh is an absolutely amazing physician and very kind. I am an RN at another facility so believe me I did a ton of research. I had a hysterectomy in November and I had a huge risk of side effect due to my health history and my inability to stop my blood thinners for the procedure. Dr. Oh took every precaution possible. I had no problems whatsoever and my pain was very minimal as in almost none. His office staff are amazing as well. I would recommend him and use him again over and over!! A+++++

He needs his license gone for malpractice! Not only did he turn me away after he operated and messed up 3 years later I have a Colostomy bag because of his ass!!!
