Dr Myer has been my surgeon since 2012. He has always been upfront and honest about what he would be able to do for me and what I should expect. With Dr Myer you always feel that you have a 100% of his attention, and he does really listen. I have most certainly not been the ideal patient. Actually with my osteoporosis, I have been quite the difficult patient. Thank goodness Dr Myer didn’t give up on me. So we now hopefully found the perfect solution. In July I had a total reverse shoulder surgery. As of now the best decision ever. I prepared myself for so much worse, and to my surprise this has truly been a blessing. I can only pray this keeps improving, and continues giving me a better way of life.. Thank you Dr Jonathan Myer you have truly given me hope and to show me there is light at the end of the tunnel. I am a 40 year-old female with decades of knee pain. I have had one prior knee surgery through Kaiser which was a complete nightmare. I was told after my surgery that I would be up and walking in approximately 5 weeks. I never recovered from that surgery and actually I feel it created compensatory problems. I became fearful to consider another doctor to evaluate me. It took me six years, a change in my insurance and hope to allow myself to seek out an orthopedic doctor, but I did. I found Dr. Jonathan Myer and he exceeded every expectation I had. I am about seven weeks post surgery and I haven't felt this energetic and hopeful in a long time. I am already better than I was pre-surgery. Dr. Myer's staff, nurses and operative team were all fabulous. I haven't received this kind of care in a long time, I definitely felt the difference. Dr. Myer is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. He is caring and very trustworthy. He performed arthroscopy with prepatellar bursectomy on my left knee, and it has healed amazingly. I can't even tell where the incisions were made. I definitely recommend Dr. Myer very highly. He is the best orthopedic surgeon in San Diego, if not all of California. Dr. Jonathan Myer helped diagnose me with a rare condition that no other doctor I met was able to diagnose. I was in a lot of pain and now I have an answer and able to get treatment. I can’t say enough of how impressed I am by his expertise. I would definitely recommend this doctor, he is the best.

Dr.Myer is very personable . what a great surgeon. I can,t say enough about his assistants. I did every thing they told me to do great success.

Dr Myer performed a shoulder surgery on me. He is professional, calming and reliable. My surgery went off without a hitch and I am back to life without pain! There was more to be done than the scans showed and Dr. Myer completed all repairs with a comprehensive report including photos of all damage and the repairs inside. Dr. Myer is a wonderful doctor. I came to him with a suspected rotator cuff tear. Upon his evaluation, he suspected a possible neck injury as well. He ordered 2 MRS (neck and shoulder) and lo and behold I have both a torn rotator cuff and 2 herniated cervical discs. I was in severe pain and could not hide it. After months of attempting to heal my shoulder on my own, Dr. Myer had the smarts to look at shoulder AND neck. Upon recieving the results, Dr. Myer went to great lengths to get me into see each provider that could provide relief to me including an anesthesiologis for an injection, a cervical surgeon to provide a consult and a physical therapy group that specializes in the spine. I had a bit of trouble with one Dr. and he immediately made another call on my behalf to get me into another who promptly called me himself and subsequently saw me the same day. Dr. Myer went above and beyond his duty as did his wonderful staff. Thank you all. I can go back to work again.

I would've loved for this to be a positive feedback, unfortunately, i feel obligated to warn others of this clinic. He will say what ever it takes to convince you that surgery is the right option for you, that you need to do it and it will resolve most if not all your problems. I had mine, only to get worse, a second opinion also showed that the surgery might have actually done further damage and i am currently worse off than ever before. If they tell you that you need surgery, please seek another opinion. If you must be operated on and you agree with their recommendation, have it done with someone else. Dr. Myer is a very trustworthy and reliable doctor who performed a knee operation on my son. He did an outstanding job finding the diagnosis, and made my son feel free from pain. I definitely would recommend him and his services.

Dr. Meyer is a excellent orthopedic surgeon. In my situation (broken clavicle) I was able to get an appointment the next day and the necessary surgery 3 days later. He explains the preocedure he is performing in detail including all the options. He provides all the risks and complications that could occur during the procedure and what expect after the procedure. He is understanding and easy to talk with. His staff is also very friendly, informative and helpful. They provided me with excellent pre and post-procedure care. Great Surgeon! I injured my knee in China where my diagnosis was...lost in translation. I was there for a couple of months with a damaged meniscus and an uncertainty of what to do. I thought it might be getting better-When I knew it was not, I got a ticket home and an appointment with Dr. Myer. My cousin had two successful knee surgeries with Dr. Myer in the past (her knees are currently fantastic) and so I took her recommendation. I am so glad that I did. I found him to be very thorough, thoughtful and kind. He took all the time necessary to answer my questions and address my concerns, of which I had many. It has been just under 4 months since my surgery and between his amazing work and the PT synergy team, I feel strong and confident in the process of healing. I highly recommend Dr. Myer. Great doctor! Very knowledgeable and great bedside manner.

In 2013 I met Dr. Myer instructing on shoulder disorders. Excellent clarity, thoroughness and audience interaction. I selected him for my worsening right shoulder pain, not helped by P.T. A well placed cortisone injection helped, but osteoarthritis and tears remained. Dr. Myer performed arthroscopic surgery in December 2013. In 2017 my left shoulder was no longer tolerable, and he removed the offending bone and cartilage. In 2018, he reattached my ruptured distal biceps tendon. Skillful & caring

Dr. Meyers helped put my right hip back in when my doctor wasn't available. He is a very caring doctor and has a very caring bedside manner.

I LOVE this doctor! I was told to take my bandage off from shoulder replacement surgery on Monday Memorial Day. I took off more than I was suppose to and saw that the incision was open, I called his service and when he responded he told me to meet him at his office so he could clean it up and he fix it. I was referred to Dr. Jonathan Myer by my GP secondary to a ATV accident suffered back in April 2016, my GP was sure my rotator cuff was damaged. My initial experience with Dr. Meyer.. well, let's just say he was a man of few words. Once he gets to know you and you get to know him, he is actually pretty funny and delightful to talk to. He doesn't mince words and gets right to the point once he has all the information from the required testing or exams you may have. I like and appreciate that about him. MRI with (5-2016) contrast showed severe damage to my left rotator cuff and surgery was scheduled following month. Dr. Meyer spoke to my wife after my surgical procedure (since I was still recovering) and let her know that my procedure went extremely well and that the damage I sustained was (separation of the Supraspinatus/Infraspinatus and subluxation of my long bicep) actually worse. My wife explained to me that Dr. Meyer gave himself a "little pat on the back" for a job well done which made her chuckle. My last visit was today, I can not express words enough for the gratitude I have for Dr. Meyer for being a talented surgeon and getting me back to my career and life. Today I have good range of motion and continue to work hard at the gym for strength. Dr. Meyer said to me at my first post surgical follow up, " I did my part and now the rest is up to you"....he was right. I found all of his staff to be very helpful and never once felt ignored or mistreated. From the front office schedulers, to his Physicians Assistant, Dan and Israel, etc.....My medical needs and emails were always met with prompt responses and the utmost professionalism. Very nice office and pleasant staff. Dr Myer diagnosed my injury/condition immediately. Based upon my pre-op research, I believe I've made an excellent choice and Dr Myer will be an superior surgeon and I'll have an excellent outcome with no aggravating pain for the remainder of my life. The most important element/outcome of any surgery is that it doesn't bother you 5, 10, 20 years later and or become chronic for the rest of your life. Dr. J. Meyer repaired my left rotator cuff which I suffered significant damage from a ATV accident. After surgery and several months of intense therapy, Dr. Meyer has helped me return back to my career and home life with great results. Am I back to a hundred percent?? Of course not, however from the damage I suffered from my injury I am very close to where I was before the accident. Thank you Dr. Meyer for being a great surgeon.

EXCELLENT CARING DOCTOR! WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!

Hard as anything to schedule an appointment it seems to take for ever days sometimes weeks for them to respond to any class that you try and make to make an appointment especially when your knee is in terrible pain because you cannot get a appointment for a cortisone shot and when they refer you to other drys their even worse! especially if your on molina and are low income it's all about money before patient these days isn't it! I doubt that the doctor knows how poor his staff for a appointment
