I came here hoping that this doctor could help, instead I feel like I just wasted my time and money. I had piece of glass stuck in my foot and suffered from plantar fasciitis for 2 years. He did an xray and said that my Achilles was overly tight on both feet. I asked him for cortisone shots as my primary dr said that would help with walking, he absolutely refused and had ZERO empathy when I started crying as Im 42 and haven't been able to walk properly for 2 years. He told me to just rest (which is impossible) and take a steroid and boost the areas surrounding the glass and get a one inch heel but spoke nothing about arch support which is the cause of the problem. It was only until I asked if I could massage my Achilles to stretch it since he said I shouldnt stretch or walk and use ice and he agreed; it was frustrating this guy had NO REAL answers and NO urgency and NO empathy. He couldn't see the glass on the xray, didnt even try to look at the glass with a light and microscope and didnt really use the xray for anything as the Achilles was diagnosed by movement so that money was wasted. He raised the ball of my foot so I could alleviate pressure where the glass was but then he put the padding to end right where the pain from my plantar fasciitis was so now the glass pain is gone but my foot hurts horribly on the tender spot and the kicker is I pointed out this spot to him several times and then to add insult in injury, I had to pay EXTRA for extra slips of adhesive foam to last me the week as he said that the foam compacts after walking on it because they were low on stock. Then he couldnt even recommend plantar fasciitis footwear for me! What kind of foot dr is this? Unacceptable. Oh and then he prescribes me a steroid and doesnt tell me its a steriod in which I have a bad reaction too. A steroid is not going to solve anything and it was just a last ditch effort. I'm highly upset that he wouldnt give me a cortizone shot - I wanted it, I was willing to pay for it and I know for a fact it would have helped but he refused and didnt want to hear my objections. I wont be going back and I suggest you dont go either if you care about your feet.

Very good experience with this Dr. Very compassionate. Took care of my friend an I for over 2 years. Recommend Dr.May anytime.

I’ve never met a more compassionate doctor and staff. Seems like doctors today want to drag out treatment. Dr. May took care of my problem the first time. His costs were exactly what was quoted to me. I highly recommend him.

Dr. May did an excellent job of repairing an infected toe from a bad manicure job. He really helped me and my husband is also now seeing him for plantar fasciitis. I highly recommend him.

Not recommended. During pre-op a week before, the doctor should have given information about supplies that would be needed. Instead I found myself looking for them while in pain trying to walk into stores. He could also give pain meds to be filled a week early. It's a 10 count. Surgery was late Friday & the prescription couldn't be filled because the pharmacy was out of them. Went back on Monday to get another prescription that couldn't be filled either!! Never again... Dr. May is excellent. No waiting around.

He is a great foot doctor i take my mother there she likes him its in and out. Tget are very nice to you and nice to talk with .i would not go any where else .

I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. When it comes to orthotics, he doesn't know what he he is doing. Mine fell apart in eight months. When I showed them to him, he became angry and refused to give me a refund.
