Dr. Jonathan Lowman

Please do not use this doctor. I went to him with concerns of high blood pressure. He scheduled me for labs 30 days out. I showed up 14 minutes late due to extreme weather conditions and traffic. Literally traffic lights were out and law enforcement had been directing traffic in front of this location. Their office staff was unwelcoming, rude, and essentially worthless. The doctor was cold and distant on previous visits. Hope they go out of business. Edit: My message to the doctor regarding this incident went ignored on the piedmont app. I did get in to see another doctor at a different practice and it was determined I had an abnormal EKG. Will be following up with a cardiologist. I’m hurt and blown away at this offices unprofessional mistreatment towards myself and possible future clients. Where would my health be if treated a month earlier?

Dr Lowman and staff were very friendly and helpful. I was in and out in 20 minutes.

I have been going there for more than 2 years, Dr.Lowman & his staff are very attentive.

Dr.Lowman has always been kind and attentive. My visits are always quick and easy.

Dr Lowman us one of the best doctors in Ga.his staff is nice and kind he treaded my mother before she passed and now he's my doctor woukd not trade him for the world.

Most unprofessional place ever! You can call and leave all the messages you want and they will return a call me "maybe" about a week or more later! By that time you will probably have been to a hospital. Their staff does not care at all either so don't waste your time! Please look for a new physician, your life may depend on it!

I love Piedmont but Dr Lowmans office is NOT A GOOD choice for a caring PCP. I just had surgery (at piedmont) and not able to control my bowels currently. I had an appointment they told me: 1) wait in the car 2) they didn’t know when they could see me 3) and to use the restroom at Waffle House (Waffle House is a business. Their restrooms are for PAYING customers not customers who pay Dr Lowman) I was also told by Courtney (on a recorded line) that the Doctor nor his office manager have an email in which you can contact them or do a complaint on. I personally Will not go back to Dr. Lowman. I had a physical and no one went over my results. I was simply told , call the nephrologist because something is abnormal. THAT’s IT!!! Nothing on my chart was explained to me , never received a call to come in and speak with anyone. I’ll never go back to him!!!

If you’re looking for a good primary physician? I am here to advise you to look elsewhere. I’ll give you several reasons why. 1. If your lab results are abnormal Dr Lowman or his staff will not contact you for a follow up. 2. He doesn’t listen to his patient it’s his way or the highway. 3. He has no compassion in regards to getting his patient’s to feel better. if you’re sick oh well that’s on you. I will conclude by saying this, I’ll never forget the first time I visit his office and I’m very intuitive in regards to my surroundings. He walked into the door and the first thing he did was roll his eyes up in the air not good unprofessional behavior. I knew from that moment he was not a good doctor/ person.First impression last the longest.His first impression was very true. No compassion, Empathy for his patients. I came to a conclusion to terminate Lowman and look for a Better Physician. If I stay with this person. My life span will probably be shortened. Guys leave while you can!!! I have seen him for 4 years and I never had a problem. He's very patient and listen to you.

Contact state medical board or Navex Global who is independent company hired by Piedmont for complaints and situations like this. It’s what I’m doing now. There’s no place for such unprofessionalism in this setting and I’m sure Piedmont won’t tolerate this!!

If you like jumping through hoops and calling like a desperate ex, this is your guy. Every appointment I've had with him has been difficult to say the least, from trying to getting more than a months prescription of medication, to waiting two months for blood work(A week is pushing it for general results). I've been a patient of Dr Lowman for more than 15 years and have always found him to be attentive, professional and willing to spend more that the absolute min time that most doctors give you now. Office staff sometimes is a different story though...

Dr. Lowman has been my mother's primary doctor for over 6 years starting when he was at Wellstar. We live 2 miles from that location. My mother has stage 6 Alzheimer's and we now travel an hour each way to see him at Peidmont Fayetteville. We tried his replacement at Wellstar but he did not compare. He is comfortable treating all of the various aspects of her disease without referring us out to other doctors. Every time I mention a new behavior, his suggested treatment has worked the first time. He is easily reached through the patient portal and responds quickly. The staff when he was at Piedmont Fairburn was awful. My husband and I both go to and like Dr. Lowman. He also cared for my elderly mother for several years before her death. Professional, caring, prompt and efficient. Direct but not abrupt.
