Run from this doctor! I had a breast lump removed by Dr. Levine and felt the lump again after surgery. When I returned up north to my regular breast doctor, I found that my breast lump was never removed after all! Nor was I told that it was not removed by Dr. Levine. What if this was breast cancer? Dr. Levine would've left it in and never told me that he did not get it. How unethical can you be. Run!!!!

Performed esophageal surgery and I am still alive after 8 years completely healed. He literally saved my life…excellent surgeon and human being

Gallbladder surgery (removed it) Staff was super friendly and helpful and Dr Levine was just as friendly and helpful!

Both me and my daughter needed Dr. Levine's expertise. He is kind, compassionate and very skilled surgeon. He makes you feel comfortable and you just know you are in the right hands. If i could give him 10 stars. I would. One of the best Dr.'s I have ever experienced.

It has been 3 days since I underwent a surgery for removal of a parathyroid and half of my thyroid. Dr. Jonathan Levine was recommended to me by another competent doctor, for his expertise, reputation and extense surgical experience. I am very grateful to have been directed to him, my surgery was outstanding. I was worried about my voice and to become hoarse in the first few days is normal but there can be more severe injury to the vocal cord nerve. Well, my voice remained normal right after surgery, my neck is very lightly sore and I can move it without any problem, my incision is still covered but seems to be perfect. He was able to find the nodule in the parathyroid and its hormone dropped immediately. I am a little slow but in good spirits and well. The surgery was safe and a success. 1st off I hate needles lol. I Had an umbilical hernia. I met w Dr Levine after being highly recommended to him. Super nice guy with a ton of experience. When I entered the hospital everyone from the check in clerk to the head nurse spoke about Dr Levine like he was God. I went in at 6:00 and was out like a light at 8:00am. Woke up and left about 10:00am. I can honestly say that I felt no pain. I didn’t take any of the prescribed pain pills. I took Tylenol only. I was diagnosed with small bowl cancer, and Doctor Levine was recommended by my gastroenterologist. I made an appointment in June 2019 to go see Dr Levine. I met with him and his Physician Assistant Kayla. He explained in detail that I needed to have Whipple surgery done to remove the small bowel cancer tumor. I felt very at ease after seeing Dr Levine and Kayla. I had the surgery done on June 19th. When I was in the Hospital either Kayla or him or both would come by every day to speak with me, even on the weekends. :) He is highly respected by the nursing staff at Broward Health Imperial Point where I had the surgery done. I thank God for Doctor Levine and Kayla. I would highly recommend him for Whipple Surgeries and the other specialized surgeries that he does. After I was discharged from the hospital, if I had an urgent need or question I could call his office and leave a message and either him or Kayla would return my call and answer any concern that I had. I have had 2 surgeries done by Dr. Levine. Last year he removed my gall bladder and there were complications. Dr. Levine was at my bedside on several occasions in the middle of the night. For this I give him a 5 star. On June 12th I was taken to Imperial Point Hospital having sever groin pains. Scans were taken and I was given pain meds. I made an appointment with Dr. Levine and had to wait until Wednesday June 21. There were many patients waiting in his office and I waited over an hour before being called in. Shortly the doctor came in pressed my groin and said it would take awhile for him to pull up the screen and see the results of the scan and tests done at Imperial Point. He said he would call in a couple of days. I was out in less than 10 minutes. Now that was June 12th and today it is June 30 and even after my making 2 calls to his office, I have yet to hear anything. I am happy to say I have had no pains, but I think I am entitled to some medical input. PS...My visit to Dr.Levine was on 6/21 and he called me back on 7/2!! 7 working days later!! Do not misunderstand me, I think he is an excellent surgeon and if need be, I would still have him do my surgery. I have had 2 surgeries done by Dr. Levine. Extremely personable doctor, really takes the time to talk to you. He did take over a week to call me with results, but seems thorough overall. Have not had surgery with him. His staff is nice.

Dr. Levine and Kayla went above and beyond to help me and figure out what exactly was wrong when I had a lump on the back of my head when no other doctors (4+) could figure out what it was. The surgery went so smoothly and They took away the pain id had for months! I couldn’t be more greatful for them. They worked with me around my hectic schedule which was absolutely incredible. Dr. Jonathan Levine, MD performed a Whipple Surgery on me in April, 2014 for pancreatic cancer and I'm still here. So professional and caring. Truly the best surgeon in South Florida who I highly recommend. He has been the main reason why I'm still alive and I will always be forever grateful.

I thank God for Dr Levine. My mom had colon cancer and he did the surgery. He has a wonderful personality and is a gifted doctor. Thank you Dr Levine for your great staff, your wonderful PA, your beautiful bedside manner and your gifted hands. We are eternally grateful!.

I have been hesitant to write this as I know a negative review could effect business; however, this has been on my mind for approximately 5 years now and I don't want to remain silent anymore. I don't know where to begin so I will jump in the middle. I was in my work office and received a call from Dr Levine that i had lung cancer. I asked Dr Levine what I should do and he verbalized that I should get further tests at another hospital since my insurance didn't pay for any additional tests except a needle aspiration. Fearing the worse, I drove quickly to Dr Levine's office and with my heart pounding I asked the front desk staff if I had to now deal with a death sentence. A nurse at that time appeared- a tall ARNP approached the window in stilettos and verbalized the following: How should I know if your going to die! I started to panic and Dr Levine came out of his office with a smirk verbalizing to the ARNP just refer him to Holy Cross Hospital. Thank God! for other Dr's!

I went to Dr Levine due to a concern about a lump over my navel. I had a hernia repair in October. I saw that the lump over my navel did not disappear after surgery. ((The was told it was swelling after months of calling and no return call. I went to see him again. He told me I just had a weak abdominal wall and to exercise. I went for a second opinion and catscan...I now have 2 hernias. Poor customer service. Poor job. I picked up nothing over 5 lbs for 2 months. Absolutely would not recommen
