Tooth extraction follow up visits all were great!

My 13-yr-old sin had to have his wisdom teeth removed early. I was so I impressed with their staff and the system they use. Very thoughtful and on point with what we were experiencing.

Dr. Lafond is amazing. I was terrified and he completely changed my outlook on going to the dentist. He has great bedside manor and made me feel comfortable. I would absolutely recommend seeing him!

My husband David went to Dr LaFond and was able to be seen quick and in for surgery all in same week which he needed badly. David says from the first phone call all through this procedure he felt The concern and care from Dr. LaFond and his team. Not only was Dr. LaFond a great oral surgeon but also a great person! Dr. Lafond and his assistant Lauren are the best surgical dental duo ever! Prior to my consult the office staff called several times to insure I had a full understanding of the procedure cost and to answer any questions. Upon arrival there was a note on the door to text a number with the name of the patient and arrival time but no further instruction. I called into the office for further instruction and was informed of the check in procedure due to Covid. The office was clean, the staff were professional. On the day of my surgery there was no difference in the amazing level of customer service. I was reassured, made comfortable and my extractions went off without any issue. There was no extreme fatigue, dizziness, or nausea immediately after the procedure. And no real pain in the days following. I love seeing Dr. Lafond. Anytime I need oral surgery done he is the DMD I request. He has a great bed side manor and his staff is great.

Was sent here for my daughter to get a simple xray done and a consultation called before to ask a price and what exactly was needed was told consultation was free set up the appointment yet at arrival was told didn't have equipment for type of scan daughter needed yet would be getting the equipment would be in soon they would call us in three weeks and I got charged $75 for this mind you this was in March we made a phone call about 4 weeks giving them an extra week to get setup and they still were not ready give them a week and we would get a call back here we are in June and still no call! Waste of mine and my daughters time considering we are trying to get her second phase of braces done and these people are holding us up! We will be doing business somewhere else! Simple phone call would have done great people! The staff here is very friendly. My Dentist referred me to Dr. Lafond for oral surgery and the calm and friendly nature of all the staff helped to make my visit less stressful.

I was referred to Dr. Lafond DMD by Dr. Pool ( Oakbrook Family Dentistry) for a dental implant. Dr Lafond 's staff has excellent customer service skills, they are very informative about the dental procedures and any questions about insurance and payment. So far so good ???? with step 1 of the implant, next checkup in 3 weeks, then in 3 months so the implant can fuse to the jaw bone. Installing the post into the jaw hurt less that pulling a tooth. This is the best experience I have ever had at a oral surgeon. I had 2 teeth extracted, bone reconstruction and 2 implants. The procedure was painless as was the recovery. The staff is wonderful and Dr. Lafond is just the best.

This sounds weird but it was the best experience I’ve ever had at the dentist. I actually enjoyed it. I had to have 2 teeth surgically removed, I was feeling a very very minor bit of discomfort, was not saying anything, but they noticed it and immediately stopped and numbed the area more. They very actually aliitle upset that I didn’t say anything. The staff was very professional and compassionate to my discomfort., before the procedure. After the procedure they made sure I completely understood the after care procedures before I left. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone. Dr Lafond saw me in Summerville emerg room on 10/30/16; I had fallen & hit my face on the tub. He had me go to him the next day to stitch up my lip, even tho he was not in my ins. network! He made a call to MUSC to speak with his friend/contact & set an appt up the very next day where I had emergency surgery & another scheduled surgery a couple of days later. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Lafond! The Doctors he put me in touch with at MUSC are amazing & at the top of their game, just like Dr. Jonathan Lafond; he's the best.... can't say enough great things about him!
