Dr. Jonathan Craig Hersch

Had a very long-standing tricep tear with terrible pain for almost 2 years Dr. Hersch MD was extremely understanding very compassionate, understood my problem evaluated my MRI, and did an incredible exam on my arm repaired my tricep after a failed surgery at another doctors office. I couldn’t be more pleased, incredibly detailed very comprehensive care. Great bedside manner you can’t go wrong. I highly recommend him for any orthopedic procedure. As a fellow physician, I know a good doctor when I see one.

I heard he was a good dr so I saw him for horrific shoulder pain i experienced after a bad slip and fall. I have pre-existing injuries but something new surfaced after this fall. The sad thing is he accused me of wanting him to say my prior injuries were related to the fall, which was not true at all. There was something new in the studies. I was and still am in horrific pain, new pain and limited mobility which did not exist prior to this fall. he refused to address it and would not make eye contact with me. I did not want narcotics either. So not sure what this was all about or why he took this position with me. i was offended, disappointed and confused. Radiological studies don't lie. In retrospect it all felt personal to me. I'll never know why because i wont ever go back. I'm sure he would never admit his issue with me. I was offended. a more honest person than me most will not meet. Honest to a fault. Maybe I needed to lie or change something about myself. This is how I was made to feel.

Excellent doctor with wonderful bedside manner. I can't say enough about how thrilled I am with my shoulder replacement. Thank you!

Saw Dr Hersch after a fall in which I broke my wrist. The appointment was quick and easy and I even got a fashion forward cast…great experience for a not so great issue.

I don't have to wait past appt time, the office staff is kind and caring. Dr. Hersch is very knowledgeable, kind and caring. He listens to what you have to say, and explains things in simple terms. Really likes him a lot!

Moved from Virginia to Boca Raton and was referred by my Primary MD to Dr. Hersch for a shoulder pain and muscle spasm in my right arm for a month and a half now. He was very thorough explaining the cause etc.. He was not quick in prescribing any pain meds but referred me to a physical Therapist first. With me sensitive to pain meds and lots of allergies to meds. I thought that was the best moved first. I sure appreciate his medical expertise.

Was informative and gracious..didn't pressure me for something I was uncomfortable with..but I would have preferred something for my pain..Tylenol not helping..

Dr. Hirsch and his team are wonderful and welcoming to a new patient. His practice already has a great reputation which is why I went and they lived up to it.

Overall top notch facility! The entire staff was professional, friendly , efficient and well trained. Dr. Jonathan Hersch is an excellent doctor. Great bedside manner, thorough and listens thoughtfully and respectfully.

The wait time to see a Doctor was 30 min after checking in . I almost fell asleep waiting in the room.

Update 3/10/22 Dr Hersch office manager did everything to rectify the issue I had on 3/7/22. 3/7/22 Scheduled my first appointment last week gave all of the necessary information to the intake department. On my way to the office to my appointment I reached out to their office regarding another issue and ask about if they had received my authorization from my insurance? They did not . First visit. Extremely well run office with friendly staff. Very clean and tidy. Doctor carefully explained my options and provided information to help me make an informed decision.

I cannot even put in words how courteous and friendly the entire staff was at this facility. The receptionist, the nurses that prepped me, the anesthesiologist and then the nurses in the OR. Doctor Hearsch was extremely busy today but took time to explain the entire procedure to me. I knew everything that was going on and every person that talked to me was in such a great mood. They were all so informative and eased my tension.

My visit was met with care and compassion. The office staff was prompt and inviting. I felt that Dr. Hersch and his assistant took his time to answer all my concerns and questions. I also had questions for the business staff that I felt got taken care of.

Very professional

Always right on time and every single person from receptionist to doctor are extremely professional. Two surgeries and many office visits later I cannot recommend Dr. Hersch and his entire staff highly enough. Absolutely outstanding.

Easy scheduling, on time appointment, a fine staff and kind doctor make for a rare pleasure in a doctors visit.

Slipped on wet tile while pressure cleaning patio and pressure cleaner fell on ankle with force. First time patient. Was referred to Dr. Hersch by friends, family and medical colleagues. Staff was professional, friendly and appointment was punctual. Dr. Hersch was not only thorough but had explained the exam, reviewing both physical and the unseen related possible injuries. Again, all were checked thorough and provided great explanations. I would highly recommend Dr Hersch for any related leg or foot injuries. He does not seem to rush to surgery unless he can justify or eliminate options.

Dr .Hersch is pleasant and very knowledgeable in his field ,not just treating the symptoms but going the extra mile to find out the cause of the problem!

Very good office experience, on schedule, polite, professional. Getting x-ray and ultrasound on-site with instant results made the exam complete without a need to come back to learn diagnosis and know next steps. Recommending Dr Hersch without hesitation.

Dr Hersch and staff are very friendly. More importantly they exude confidence and knowledge in their field. Dr Hersch is caring, listens to your concerns, is honest with his evaluations, and is open to offering alternatives to treatments, whenever possible.

Dr Hersch was literally one of the few doctors I’ve visited in Boca that actually cares about his patients. Nice guy. Thorough and takes the time to make his patients feel comfortable.

Terrible experience with this place. They sent my account to a collection company after 2 months because they didn’t have my address on file!! They had my phone number and my address was all over the paperwork so how this gets overlooked is beyond me. Then they hang up the phone on you when you’re clearly upset that this happen. No customer service skills whatsoever. I also heard the doctor making fun of a patients hair color/ethnicity while I was there, and remember thinking how tacky and unprofessional of them.. that should’ve been my first sign to run away. Office staff very pleasant, Dr Hersch was very nice and explained everything to the t.

The most efficient operation I've ever experienced. My appointment was for 11am. I was sitting in the doctor's waiting room at 11! Xrays were done by 11:15... and Dr. Hersch walked in the room to see me by 11:20. WOW! — real nice guys... and very helpful! Liked the whole experience.... friendly, efficient etc....

The doctor diagnosed my injury, discussed precisely what happened from a medical perspective, the different levels or grades of my injury as well as a comprehensive forward plan with each option from no treatment to surgical repair. Very thorough and extremely well explained, leaving me with the sense that not only does Dr. Hersch really know what he’s talking about but also a sense of relief knowing all options were thoroughly explained. He also correctly diagnosed my wife last year after she had received bad information from two other orthopedic surgeons. Thanks to Dr Hersch she is on the mend. I highly recommend this physician.

Josh very effective and dr. Hersch the best caring explained what can and will happen after the shot is given to me in my knee

Great doctor. Very practical and takes the time to answer all of my questions. Doesn't push anything on you. He gives you the advice and ultimately leaves the decision in your hands. Also it's nice that he actually answers questions about risks and likelihood of success without constantly hedging.

Dr Hersch is excellent. His bedside manner is wonderful. I had hip surgery last year with him and it went splendidly.

Dr. Hersch has a pleasant demeanor and thorough in explaining my ex rays. He seems to care about his patients which is more then some other orthopedic I’ve been to see.

Dr. Hersch provided superb care and everyone in his office performs at an equally high level. The office visits and location are both comfortable. Would highly recommend for elbows as that was my area of ailment. He and his staff would be my first choice for any type of future Ortho needs.

I was suffering from pain in my knee, Dr Hersch was recommended by a good friend of mine. I was professionally greeted and when I went in for my examination the technician was really knowledgeable and asked me the right questions. After they took x-rays Dr Hersch explained about my knee. When I left his office I was relieved to know my knee wasn't as bad as I thought. Good Doctor, great mannerisms.

Office fit me in as a new patient same day. I could not have been any happier with the care provided and all of the staff. After being told by an urgent care that I needed immediate surgery, Dr. Hersch put me at ease. Hopefully I will not need surgery but if I do, I have all the confidence in this Dr and his staff. Office staff, excellent. Physician, clinically thorough, but flat and cavalier in bed side manner. The mask he was wearing to protect himself and others from Covid kept falling below his nose which made me feel unsafe during the office visit relative to the pandemic. The physician was a bit too remiss about this.

Dr Hersch explained my options and possible outcomes very clearly.

Dr Hersch nailed my treatment w my miniscus surgery - after other orthopedists did little, if anything, to take care of my injury. Aside from the perfect treatment, I deem his bed side manners to be patient, intelligent, and respectful. I would not delay in seeing Dr Hersch for any pertinent injuries.

I was extremely disappointed in my visit with Dr. Hersch. He pretty much made fun of me for saying I have had extreme lower back pain for 5 days straight. Telling me that is not a very long time. I tried explaining that my back seems to be going out more often now and although only lasts a couple of days each time, I need some sort of way to deal with this. He did not do any xrays, send me for an mri, check my back in any way. He made me feel like he was making fun of me. Would definitely NOT recommend him as his bedside manner is non-existent. His asst was also completely unfriendly. So uncomfortable.

I am a car hauler truck driver and believe me, in my line of work climbing up the ramps when you have to tie up the the cars, you need to rely entirely on every bone, joint and muscle in your body. I'm so happy I choose Dr. Hersch to repair my torn bicep tendon. Though out the whole experience he communicated well, was very through, knowledgeable, decisive and very experienced. His staff complimented his great performance as well. My surgery couldn't have gone better followed by a very fast painless recovery. Being a competitive athlete I was very comfortable with Dr. Hersch as he is very athletic himself and could relate to my active lifestyle. Your staff, all inclusive, has been hands down one of the best practices that I have ever dealt with for my health care.
