Dr. Jonathan William Brugger

Dr. Brugger is in the right profession. He is knowledgeable, he checks things out thoroughly. He is cautious about invasive treatment and patient to let the body heal. Vitreous Detachment was what I had. I bleed a lot so it was disconcerting the first time. Dr. Brugger saw me right away even though I was not an established patient. I recommend him to anyone.

The office was lovely and clean, the ladies up front desk were professional and very nice. The nurses who took me to the back, knew what to do and make you feel comfortable. They were professional. We talked and laughed it was great. Dr Brugger I couldnt ask for more professional then this Doctor. He made me confortable and even asked me at the end of exam, what questions I had for him. I was from out of town and was having issues from a previous eye injury and so I went online and saw excellent ratings for Retina Care Consultant so I called them and they got me in that same day to see Dr. Brugger. He was such a pleasant man and took his time to listen and examine my eye and was very confident in his evaluation which made me very comfortable. The only thing I regret is that I don't live in Sarasota so I can continue to see him has my eye specialist he was great. I would recommend him to anyone. Thank you Dr. Brugger and staff

I cannot speak more highly about Dr. Brugger and how he saved my vision. He carefully took a look at my eye and explained clearly what was going on, my retina was detaching. Nobody wants to lose their sight and I was clearly shaken up by this diagnosis, but he took the time to talk to me in detail about what to expect, my options, and what would happen next. I work in the field of ophthalmology so having the very thing happen to me that I fear/hear about from patients was the last thing I wanted to go through but he managed to calm those fears. I couldn’t be more grateful for Dr. Brugger for not only seeing me but also taking the time to follow up with me after surgery. Dr. Brugger is the best!

Dr. Brugger saved my vision in my right eye. Even during quarantine, Dr. Brugger made himself available to help me with my eye problem. I told him the symptoms over the phone and then sent him a photo of my eye. Dr. Brugger knew immediately what the problem was and called in a prescription right away. He explained what was happening in a way that was easy to understand and explained how urgent the situation was. If not for Dr. Brugger, I would probably have waited and potentially could have had irreversible damage to my right eye. I highly recommend Dr. Brugger!

Dr. Brugger is not only a great surgeon, but he is also very personable. Takes the extra step to always explain things in simple terms. He put my mind at ease going into surgery and the results were better than I had hoped.

Dr. Brugger is a fantastic doctor! He was willing to step outside of retina and help me with a complex eye issue. Making me feel safe and comfortable and bringing my vision back to 20/20. I left his office with no question unanswered. I understood not only the diagnosis but the procedure I needed. He took his time and restored my sight. I am forever grateful. I wouldn't consider going to any other physician in the future.

Dr. Brugger is the doctor you want. Knowledgeable and capable. Explains every step of the process and gives the patient a grasp of what is happing now and what will happen later. Able to connect to a patient and always has time and bedside manor to spare. Tops in the practice. Highly Recommended!
