Dr. Jonathan Blau

Dr Blau does NOT listen to his patients. I have seen him for about a year now and can tell you his entire medical history because he likes to repeat it every appointment as if that makes him an expert in MY pain because he has pain too. He called other doctors in his field “incompetent” because they did not agree with him. I’m done with this guy. A BS in Zoology apparently gets you in medical school.....

Did not like using this doctor, even my aunt called him rude and said never go back to him. Taking her advice if he will ever release me to see someone else, its been 2 months and still nothing!

My friend has been trying to schedule an appointment for 3 days for a procedure on her back and nobody in this office will call her back. Very unprofessional.

I absolutely love Dr Blau!!. He didn't jump in and want injections first thing like most pain management Dr's. I have been with him almost a year and we are scheduling my first injection, after he gets my mri and after I see a orthopedic about other problems. If you have injuries old and new he treats people well and treats with the message that are right for you!! The nurse and nurse practitioner are wonderful!! And the staff is just so friendly and helpful. I have a lot of pain from old injuries and I highly recommend Dr Blau!! I absolutely love Dr Blau!!. Dr. Blau and his staff are great! Very professional, courteous, and caring folks. Dr. Blau is a real down to earth doctor who explains everything very well and strives to relieve pain and get a person totally cured from pain. He worked with me for almost 4-years keeping me as pain free as possible trying to avoid surgery in which I did not want. I ended up getting surgery this year after all. Now I am totally pain free. Dr. Blau played a major role in buying me time and getting me cured. Thanks!

Dr Blau has been seeing my wife and I for over 10 years combined. He has done NOTHING to cure either of our pain. On wife's last visit he asked if she had had surgery ( which he refered her and had in Jan 2016. Then he said he was going to refer her to Dr Lien ( a nerve specialist) for a series of tests, again, she had those tests done in Nov 2016. He is incompetent and nothing more than ripping off insurance and I can safely say the whole Texas Spine And Joint Hospital is not as advertised ,
