Dr. Jon M Silver

C5/C6 and C6/C7 fusion in October 2020. Immediate relief and such a blessing. Dr. Silver is fantastic!

I had spinal fusion with Dr. Silver in 2011. Absolutely no problems. He is one outstanding surgeon!

I had a large protrusion of disk in my neck that was gradually shutting down my spinal cord. Problem had gradually worsened over a couple years. I had 16 years ago two disks fused from a neck injury that went well so this was not my first rodeo. I initially had seen another doctor for the condition but through must prayer and revelations was stirred clear of that doctor. Dr Silver saw me and cautioned me about not getting it repaired pretty soon. Long story shortened. Surgery was done at Mission and immediately noticed some improvement although I still have long way to go to get my 70 year old body back to my early 60’s condition. While in the hospital I learned from comments from hospital staff that Dr Silver was the go to doctor for medical professionals in Asheville for neurosurgery. When I went to Dr Silver I had no clue what to expect. All through the workman's comp and insurance waiting to be paid not once was he short tempered or in a hurry. Always professional and caring. One of the nicest, caring doctors out there. Yes, go! Recommend him.

Dr Silver performed a micro diskectomy pn in 89 and I have not had any issues with my back since!

I HAVE BEEN A PATIENT OF DR SILVER FOR MANY YEARS AND HAVE HAD LUMBAR AND CERVICAL SURGERY PREFORMED BY HIM WITH EXCELLENT RESULT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM. HE IS KIND, COMPASSIONATE AND HIGHLY SKILLED. I LIVE 5 HOURS AWAY FROM THIS SURGEON AND IT IS WELL WORTH THE TIME AND TRIP TO SEE HIM.

I can't begin to explain how grateful and proud I am to say that Dr.Jon Silver surgeon with Carolina Spine and Neurosurgery, is MY surgeon. I have had two significant surgeries with Dr.Silver and can proudly boast that he is the surgeon that "one" needs when it comes to identifying problems and heading off a potential life altering issue not to mention his skilled hand in repairing both my thoracic/lumbar and cervical spine.. He spotted something on a MRI that was barely noticeable but possibly very dangerous had it been left uncorrected. I am forever grateful to have found him,thank you Dr Silver thank you!! Wow! I don't know what I can possibly say to express how amazing Dr Silver as. He listens, really listens. He pays attention, asks questions, and answers all of yours whether they're small or the major ones. He doesn't pull any punches, but he also doesn't say anything deliberately to scare you like some doctors can. Go. He's the right one.

I had C5C6 discectomy and fusion in November 2015. Surgery was a success. Dr. Silvers had great bedside manners and always spent enough time with me explaining in detail my condition and procedure. I would recommend him to anyone! ??

Dr. Silver had very good bedside matters, and was really good explaining everything, so I could understand. He is a very good surgeon, and I will go back.

Waiting was not problem because spent as much time as needed when saw physician. Did not feel rushed. He preformed 3 surgeries One cranial, 2 spinal over 6 years. The outcomes were excellent and surpassed expectations. Traveled over 700 miles for both spinal operations because of success with first experience..
