I requested an order for a ct myelogram, now you have 90 days from when the order is written, but they start calling asking about when am I going to schedule the procedure, approximately two weeks later. I explained what was going on, yet they kept calling and said the order will have to be canceled and a another one will have to be written, and at this point I just said well just do what you have to do. Now I explained ahead of time that there was car repair issues. there's alot left out. Long story short I received a call from them saying due to my behavior that I'm no longer a good fit. Oh begore I forget I was threatened by Kristen that she could stop my pain medication, and she also stated this in my last office visit, which I feel is just a power kick. I just said fine, ok knowing that they're not the only pain medication facility in Wichita. You no I've been with them for almost 10 years, maybe it was a time for a change.

I'm suppose to describe my experience, but i choose not to belittle someone such as i had done to me. This is just my experience and yours may be completely different

Make sure everyone is checking the original reviews because Doc keeps changing up his Google info creating new one etc because his reviews are so bad but are nothing but the truth. I love to share the tells of Rita Miller. This most evil person I've ever met, and I am still paying the price. Lucky for you all she retired.

Great at what he does

This guy is a covid / mask / vaccine denier. I would be expect he'd have been infected by now.

He made me feel totally comfortable with everything especially when I was scared. The only pain was the numbing the area (like first shot at dentist).

Dr Park is the nicest Doctor with a great bedside manner. He walks you through every step of what he is going to do and then does exactly what he says. Empathetic, gentle and has a great sense of humor. He has helped me tremendously.

I am so grateful for Dr Parks and his staff. Never a problem with my health and this year amazingly excruciating back pain from nerves and degenerative disc’s. He should not be practicing medicine He's arrogant and condescending and treats patients like they are stupid ??.

Not impressed. They want to repeat EXPENSIVE procedures that have previously failed to provide relief, yet when presented with the options that have not been tried their answer “we don’t do that” Treated like a drug addict despite the fact I have never even had so much as an unpaid parking ticket. Never have seen an actual doctor and nobody seems to be very knowledgeable about treating a person with my diagnosis.

I saw Dr Parks for my back pain the shots works for about 6 months these were 6 months of relief! Yes I ended up with back surgery. Now my husband is seeing the doctor for shots and hopefully he will get some relief. I loved his detailed information while giving me my shots and my husband also agreed. We have not had any problems with Dr Parks or office. To read all the bad reviews made me wonder if they were at the same office.

Dr Parks is the best. Fantastic bedside manners. I was not afraid after two minutes with him. Thank you Dr. Parks.

Keep Looking, I do NOT recommend! I would give 0 if I could, I never saw/met Dr. Parks (so I can not say any neg. about him) even though I Paid to see him I saw a PA and they didn't have any of my medical records yet and she's throwing out Steroid injections again along with Physical therapy and Muscle relaxers 4 times a day, advised her I work, I have to be coherent at my desk. My heart is a muscle too how good can that be for it? She needs to do some research on the side effect of those shot's (Stroke, Heart Disease, Osteoporosis ect) advised her I had already been through physical therapy and the steroid shots I was off work for over a yr. trying everything ( In the Cervical area it's soooo Painful) No I am not going through that pain again. All she said is well we haven't done it. It doesn't matter who does it the results are the same. My Dr. retired after being with him for 33 yrs. I'm finding that it's hard to find a Dr. in Wichita that actually gives a Dam about their patients. She has No idea the pain I am in daily, yet I push through and still work at my desk 8 hrs a day. I felt like she treated me more like I was a drug addict then a person who suffers with Migraines, Arthritis, Spinal Stenosis, Fibromyalgia and Severe degenerative disk disease, Bet she could not work as many hrs as I do suffering through the pain, I have always been a strong person, but Real tired of the Pain! I will NOT lay in Bed due to the Pain nor do I want to take medications that will not let me be a functioning humane being. She's pretty much acting like my Dr. who has treated me for 33 yrs was wrong, well he's kept me Functioning, which is what all Dr.s should do, I am NOT going to end up on the couch with all this medication on SSI cause I can't function daily. I was very nervous about having an epidural for my low back pain but Dr. Jon Parks was amazing! He talked me through the entire procedure and it really helped with my pain! Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Dr. Jon Parks is an excellent physician who is very caring and helpful. I recommend him highly.

Dr Parks is very kind and caring. He is very gentle giving injections. I have had several injections. His are the best compared to others. The staff is kind, they have helped me with pain very well.

I cannot say enough about the help they were able to give me. I went to them for a super unique situation - teeth - they really don't do teeth; BUT they did have an answer for what they believe the problem to be but even better? After 5 weeks of barely being able to function, they were able to prescribe nerve-blocking medication and a stronger anti-inflammatory medication that has helped tremendously. So thankful for how quickly they were able to see me and provide relief from what has been incredible complications and debilitating pain. Dr. Parks, Rita and all of the staff at APM are outstanding. I had suffered from non-stop pain for years, had been to multiple specialists trying to find the source of the pain, and it wasn’t until I went to APM that I was correctly diagnosed. Even Mayo had missed it, but Rita and Dr. Parks found it. I would recommend them to anyone.

Was unfriendly. Insisted added tests. My back injections were the most painful I had ever received.

I received 12 shots for facet joint pain only to be told that Dr. Parks could not do the ablation because I hadn't received 80% relief from the shots. No one explained that to me beforehand. My other complaint is that I want a physician to look me in the eyes and take the time to talk to me. I felt I was intruding. I don't care what your schedule is; talk to your patient.

After years of pain, I have found the most thorough Dr. to diagnose and treat my condition. I have regular appointments and his team is considerate and consistent. I always leave feeling a little bit better about the direction of my treatment and long term recovery prospects. The staff is accommodating, helpful, and caring. I have been to other docs in town and they do not compare to the expertise of Dr.Parks

He was VERY HELPFUL to me. I had pains in Lwr Back and Hip. My Orthopedist did X-rays and MRI in the lower back, did physical therapy but didn't SOLVE the problem. I found Advanced Pain Medicine Assoc. and Dr. Parks by internet search - showed they had experience in diagnosing CAUSE as well as treating of pains. They used "pain treatment" also to explore my cause, then ordered an MRI of the Hip - -that showed severe Osteoarthritis. He also recommended good surgeons to fix it. GREAT doctor.

Treated like a drug addict. Very disrespectful. Will not go back. Do not recommend!!

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. Initial visit was there for and 1 1/2 hours total time with assistants was approx. 15 minutes. Told me "communication is the key". Prescribed me medication. Filled prescription that day. Tried for 24 hours didn't work. Called in to "communicate" nurse told me pain medication takes 24-48 hours to work. I am on week 8 of back injury with one epidural and MRI already done. Im no doctor but I know a few and I knew the answer before asking them but I did anyway, pain medication does not take 48 hours to work! If you have or have had a serious back injury im sure you can understand how hard it is to go 48 hours in serious pain without sleep. I am a local business owner and pride myself on customer service and the nurse I dealt with wouldn't last 1 hour working for me. I am a cash paying customer because being a business owner insurance costs are $1000 a month. I spent $330 for the initial visit then had to pay $130 for a urine test. Total $460 to be treated rudely and to get no help whatsoever. Also asked about scheduling the epidural and was told my paperwork had to go through the insurance process, I told the nurse I was a cash customer and she told I would still have to go through the insurance process. Insane! In the end I paid $460 for a prescription and am having to go elsewhere. Lesson learned. Don't use this place. Lastly, never saw or spoke to Dr. Parks. Very sad today....I have very serious pain as I told Dr. Parks...I was looking forward to feeling like a human being but things have changed in my life....i lost everything most inportant a Dr. that I truly loved...i was ready to fight for my life....now I don't know what this world has come to not even myself for being blamed and judged to you office...I apologize being to communicated.....just thought you should know I couldn't take the pills that were given to me that they where dangerous to me....that doesn't sound like a druggie too me....I was just explaining my situation.....if only you knew how hard I have been crying for being place as one and how I have to sit in a bubble without a chance to fight....losing your legs & feet is a CHALLENGE!!! Dr. Parks is the best surgeon and I have total trust in him and the advice that is given to me by my pain management advisor. PA. Rita is awesome to work with. She is a great listener and explains everything in great detail, which makes me feel very comfortable with the treatment plan she has recommended for me. The experience I have every time I have an appointment is a positive one. The ladies at the front desk are very personable and treats you like you are one of their friends.

I've been seeing Dr. Parks for 7 years and in that time I have never had a bad experience with them. Some people don't like the way his office is run. Dr. Parks only does procedures so you will not see him on a regular basis. You typically see either his PA which is Rita Simpson or a nurse once a month for them to do a pill count assuming you're on narcotics.. The office staff could not be more friendly and respectful. They make an effort to remember my name.

Dr. Parks was great. I am glad I didn't believe all the bad reviews. His staff and and the doctor made me very comfortable and was the easiest injection I have ever had. The bad reviews were probably from drug seekers who didn't get what they wanted.

Dr. Parks and his staff have always been professional and friendly. However; when I started having severe pain and wanted to schedule an epidural injection, I get a call saying they found a 650.00 bill they didn't realize I owed. Instead of letting me set up an appointment she argued with me about the bill. Even after making a payment and trying to set up payment arrangements, she wouldn't let me set up the appointment. This was obviously an oversight on their behalf. I realize filing insurance is a courtesy, but no bill was ever sent until I made that call. I tried to call again and never got a response. In the 14 months it took to send me that bill, it would have long been paid off. I will try again to make an appointment in hopes that I can remain a patient at this facility. DOGGIES!!!! Yaaaaay!!!! Also caught the change in my MRI reading when even the neurosurgeon I saw didn't. Didn't make me feel like a hypochondriac and believed me.

After "seeing" "Doctor" Jon Parks, signing an 18-month contract for their office, I saw him a total of 2 times throughout the course of treatment. His nurse passed questions off to him. Only 3 treatment options were offered by this office - Hydrocodone only for pain medicine, only 1 type of shot for pain and a tens unit. Nothing else. And when asked about this, response was "nothing else they could do." New Pain mgmt. specialist I see now has an entire arsenal of solutions vs. Mr. Parks 3 only.

I have been treated by Dr Parks for many years. I find him to be very knowledgeable and thorough. He is very personable and comical. He talks to you during the procedure making you aware of what to expect. He also well versed in a variety of subject matters and keeps you so at ease the procedure is over before you know it. His PA Rita Simpson is awesome as well!

I think the targeted injections he does are a miracle and really work. He is a master with the needle and it does not hurt to have one done. I have highly recommended him numerous time. sandy

Dr. Parks is a very caring Dr. Very professional and friendly. Would recommend him to anyone with pain problems.

He and his staff talk poorly about their patients, using names and all. They are rude, they leave computers out where they could easily be accessed, and they start with Dr. Parks' influence. The man is a narcissist and I refuse to see or be treated by him or his staff again.
