Dr. Jon L Bass

Absolute coward. I have lingering Covid symptoms and was clear about this when I called and made an appointment. I was in his exam room and he refused to come in or provide any care at all. He is a coward and I’ll be reporting him to the MRB.

This physician is/was absolutely outstanding!!!! I was hysterical over my recent diagnosis and from the minute I spoke with Raisa (I hope I spelled it correctly) I felt so relieved. The staff was great and Dr Bass truly cared about me. He showed me my CT scan and took his time with me. The nurse Guyatri was wonderful!! Everyone I met truly are blessed to be in the medical field. I am 74 and have been seeing Dr Bass for 3 years now and I wanted to remark on how caring and understanding he has been and continues to be. I have an asthma-like condition which basically needs treating as opposed to curing. His input and explanation is very reassuring and effective and my tennis game reflects this... Thank you Dr Bass

I have COPD and have been treated by Dr Bass for the past five years. He has worked to keep me healthy, active and out of the hospital for past four years. Prior to this it appeared as though I was in and out of the hospital every three to six months. He is a good listener who encourages me to talk about my health issues and he is not a pill pusher. He believes in the power of physical therapy and it along with the right medications has really worked well for me. I have seen other Pulmonary specialist but Dr Bass is the best.

I had an appointment that was postponed one month at the last hour. The man is nice but I waited 45 minutes for a 5 minutes appointment where I discussed two problems : sleep problems and trouble breathing when doing intense exercise. We barely discussed my sleep disorder and he said the nurse would schedule a sleep study. I said I was taking diphenhydramine to help and he had no opinion... I came with blood samples he did not even look at, he could at least have acted like he was looking at it. There are so much causes to sleep disorder, sleep apnea is not the only thing ... The second issue was simply not discussed after I explained it to him. I am self-insured and right now I have been sitting for 20 Minutes waiting for my bill. I've seen Dr. Bass 3 times and he is always thorough, he asks questions and shows interest in what you are telling him. He goes out of his way to help you. I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking for a pulmonary physician. Definitely a top doctor - not a 'top doctor' who pays his way into a Connelly registry. By the way, you can't go by those lists anymore as they are not a true representation of a great doctor as they are lists that you pay to be on through a registry and they have found that even those in the Top Doctor lists in the national magazines are sometimes not even practicing physicians.
