Fell, broke three ribs in right back. Have residual pain in my back. Visited twice. First visit was 6 x-rays then an assessment. He literally only touched my ankles and knees (pulses and tendon response). NEVER assessed my back. Told me I had arthritis and sent me to physical therapy (a business he owns). Therapist were great, but only minor and temporary improvement. Second visit was follow up and he said continue with therapy; requested records / x-rays - never happened.

This is not an angry rant but after several visits I will not go back. The doctor has zero compassion, begrudgingly answers questions with short generic answers, and spends on average 5 minutes or less with the patient per visit. I drove a distance to get a second opinion and wow... what a difference. There is a world of options for treatment that were never discussed or offered to me.

Dr. Benjamin was a life saver. he did my back surgery, perfectly..weened me off all medications, I did rehab and I was back to work in 8 wks. He is very professional and really listens to your concerns. I recommend him all the time to people with back issues. His staff as well are very experienced and are happy to work with you on arrangements you can afford.
