Dr. Young and all of his staff. They are such a great team all focused on your health. More than a good doctor he’s an amazing and special person who cares about all patients not only in to get them better but to treat them from the bottom and cure them. The energy and good vibes in the medical center makes you feel better since you get there. A good and different treatment is what makes the difference and at his practice is what you’ll find. As a professional athlete and a patient I can only recommend to anyone who wants a better understanding of our health. Thank you and god bless to all Young foundation.

Unfortunately I have been going to Dr. Young for a few years now and he and the staff have been really nice. However today the receptionist was very rude to me over the phone and hung up on me . This person has been rude to me in the past as well. I did get there 5 minutes late for my appointment. I won't be returning to this facility . Good staff is hard to find , but when you have a rude receptionist it turns people away from the practice.

I’ve been seeing Alex for over 2 years now. It’s so refreshing to have someone to help me think “outside the box” in addressing my medical needs. It’s not easy finding medical staff who still uses critical thinking skills as she does. I’m so thankful for Alex and the Young Foundational medial group.

Young Foundational Health Center is your "one-stop shop" for health and wellness. Dr. Young and the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, and try to get at the root cause of your symptoms, rather than just prescribing a lot of medications. A more natural approach is taken at the center.

Tiffany has been treating me for a couple of years for menopausal symptoms, and she has provided excellent treatment. She listens to me and is willing to treat me with alternative medicine, because I don't want harsh drugs. She is caring, attentive, and cheerful.

I went to Dr. Young, did my labs and Dr. Young and staff figured out what was wrong. Dr. Young is unlike your typical MD... he doesn't just treat your symptoms...he looks to find the cause and to treat the cause of those symptoms. He has helped me with numerous issues where other doctors just wanted to prescribe medications that were doing more harm to me. He has an amazing bedside manner, has incredible knowledge and truly cares, a rarity these days.

I am so grateful for Dr. Young!! I got a foreign body in my eye that caused a scratch to the cornea. The ophthalmologist was surprised that after just 5 days, my eye was healing much faster than expected. Together with the antibiotic drops, Dr. Young suggested ozone therapy and Vitamin C. After each ozone treatment I could feel my eye feeling better and my vision getting clearer!!! I highly recommend Dr. Young and his professional and friendly staff. I also recently had a series of ozone injections for osteoarthritis in my fingers, that brought amazing results. I am so grateful for Dr. Young!! Unexpectedly received a letter of patient dismissal from this provider stating that "we believe this is not the right practice for you." Knowing that I am not a dangerous, threatening patient, followed protocol and didn't miss appointments, I placed a call to the office manager for further insight. I was only told this was the provider's choice (Alexsandra De Oliveira). This was VERY unfortunate as I only saw her 2 times (once for initial consult and once for bloodwork review). She seemed very sincere in wanting to help me. I have been chronically ill for many years, so this was very hurtful, undeserving and unwarranted. Prior to seeing Alexsandra, I had been a previous patient at the clinic under another NP several years before. I spent a LOT of $$$ in nutritional IV's which are not covered by insurance, but were heavily encouraged (still uncertain if they really helped or not.) Regardless, I have lost respect for this clinic after being dismissed as a patient. It is my belief this happened when I told her I needed to stop a medication I was prescribed as it was exacerbating my anxiety. I was then labeled "non-compliant". Most doctors/NP's would work with their patient to figure it out and find out what does work, considering everyone's biological makeup is different. That was not my experience. I've been seeing him for about a year and he helped me feel better immediately. He does more specific blook work and is aware of all the latest "out of the box" options for treatment. I have read some of the reviews that were not satisfied with Dr. Young's practice. This lead me to write my feeling on this subject. 40 years ago I was dying from a liver problem and the conventional medicine did not give me much of a chance unless I did a liver transplant. I instead went to functional medicine instead. The Doctor I went to was in Orlando and very different from what I was use to seeing. One of the differences is that conventional insurance does not cover hardly and of the protocols that functional calls for. So I had very little money at the time and had to scrape together the money needed to save my life. Fast forward and I am still alive and have my original liver and doing very well. Only one problem that I will live with the rest of my life and that is Adrenal Fatigue but it is manageable. The Doctor that I talked about above died at age 89 and I though I would never find another Doctor as good as he was. Well I am glad to report that Dr. Young is equal to or better. I start with Dr. Young with the Meyers Cocktail (Rudy is great) for the Adrenal Fatigue and have had PRP done on my shoulders and hands with good results. If you are one the people that will do nothing unless insurance covers it, this is not the place for you. If you want results this is the place for you. This practice and md is the ONLY dr that has helped me with issues. He’s Dr House himself. Plus the staff is AMAZING!

I have been going here for about 5 years. I feel better than I ever have. They really take the time to listen to you and give many options for your personal health related issues.I would not go anywhere else. I highly recommend this facility if you are interested in optimum health.

I LOVE Dr Young’s office! I began back in 2009 when I was passing back-to-back kidney stones. Dr. young did blood work and got to the root (the cell) after 6 weeks of treatment I only passed one more kidney stone in 12 years. I now see Alex for hormone therapy and weight loss and she has helped so much. I lost 72 pounds and came off high blood pressure meds after 9 years. Herbs and supplements are overpriced in order to make more money off the patients. Office visits and lab work purchased through the company are jacked up another $100 on top of the basic cost of the lab from the company. Money minded, plain and simple.

Dr Young has helped me in the 6 days that I have been on his treatment more than the traditional doctors could do in 5 months He goes outside the box with blood work. I suffered greatly everyday when I got out of bed with anxiety and low mood after breaking my shoulder. Also, I have never been to a doctors office where the staff was so caring and so much compassion for the patients from the minute you walk in the door. I have been going to this doctor about a year now. I was basically stuck in a wheel chair with congestive heart failure, broken ankle which needed surgery and black mold poisoning. I knew my time was just about up. I had gained so much fluid in my body. I felt like the Nutty Professor (movie) We took everything one step at a time. My experiences with Dr. Young have been truly miraculous. I had something on my foot that had been bothering me for years and a few months ago it got infected and I was told I would have to have it surgically removed. I am a very active person and didn’t want to have surgery on my foot, which could potentially put me out of commission for a very long time. I was referred to Dr. Young, I went in to see him and with the ozone treatment he provided my foot was completely healed a few days later without surgery. About a week ago the exact same issue occurred on my other foot. I was in extreme pain and decided to put the ozone cream he gave me on it. By the next day it was completely gone. This is so amazing. Dr. Young has shown no patience for my wife. We have seen him 3 times. He can be very rude and demeaning. On Our 2nd visit he was yawning constantly and actually took a FaceTime call from his daughter during our meeting. On our 3rd visit he told my wife to disregard the 3 vitamins that he recommended the previous visit and at one point hold her to see another doctor. He seems very much like a bumbling, guessing, uncaring doctor that doesn’t want to take the time to listen to you and actually help you get better. I think he just wants to sell his products and processes.

Agree with another reviewer that this office lacks protocol for Stem cells. Tried stem cells at Dr Young’s suggestion for Lupus (SLE) . After treatment my immune system went on overdrive. I experienced severe face rash with eyes almost swollen shut, body aches and dehabilitating fatigue. Dr Young failed to follow up, he did not schedule a post treatment appointment. I told him later about my reaction and he shrugged and said “ it doesn’t work for everyone”. That was it. No curious inquiry or data gathering about my experience, no follow up test, and no pre-testing to begin with. Before spending $$$ on stem cells his comment was “give it a try”. Afterwards his attitude was — oh well.... I’m grateful to Dr. Young for suggesting Vitamin C infusions, and being a listener in previous years, but my impression is that there are too many patients in this practice for a single doctor to track serious conditions well. Consider myself a Youthful 70 a Breast & Esophogeal Cancer survivor. At that time I was a part time resident & a patient for over six years. Due to Dr. Young’s ???? Dedication through my Chemo & Radiation Treatments I’m stronger mentally & physically. Dr. John Young is a very caring doctor! I have had about 15 in the past 6 years since dealing with crohns (and being a former medical student). I know what I want out of a doctor and HE IS IT! He has helped me feel normal WITHOUT CHEMICALS!!! This man does not believe in shoving chemicals in your mouth!! I’m doing treatments with him costing me nothing compared to what others charge! I have a 3 yr old with developmental delays (not autism). Most of these services are 100% out of pocket and luckily with our jobs we can with effort pay for Dr. Young's services. However since both parents work and rely on our work for financial access to these services. Appts are made out 1.5 - 2 months out. Therefore, I made appts and RSC due to mandatory work meeting BEFORE our appt to RSC. Apparently they have a policy that you cannot RSC "New patient" appt" after 2 times. NO ONE TOLD ME THIS. This is a 3 yr old we are talking and they informed they refuse to RSC because of their office policy. When you work with children and parents who are trying to make a living to afford your services offer SOME flexibility. Or at the very least be VERY VERY clear about this policy on the front. I was on the phone in tears trying to explain I did not know but now that I know I will not RSC a new visit. They did not care just referred to their policy. We were comparing this facility or others for possible stem cells. This facility lacks the information and protocols needed to make a decision. We liked Dr. Young but the staff was not as accommodating as would be expected. Their stem cell protocol also lacks options and does not offer the latest using umbilical cord tissue.

I have back and neck plus knee problems for 34 years. With stem cell injections, I am doing so much better!! I am so "Blessed ", I found him through my doctor that referred me to go see Dr. Young!

i've been seeing Dr. Young since 2011. I haven't started stem cell therapy with him(I plan to). I don't know where the three star review got their info, but Dr. Young does only umbilical cord stem cell therapy. He recently told me that if a facility is using the patient's own stem cells they're using old technology. His nurse practitioners are also extremely knowlegeable. He's one of the few doctors in the alternative medicine field. Not only that, but he accepts insurance and Medicare. the few others in this field don't. Caring, knowledgeable, intuitive, thoughtful, pro-active, aims to get to cause rather than slap on RX after RX.

Dr Young is unlike any doc I have ever been too. He actually listens to you and wants to figure out your issues. He went above and beyond to help me with my condition that no one else could figure out. I have been brought up on alternative medicine so i was looking for someone like Dr Young who would treat me naturally. Oh and his staff is awesome so nice! Dr Young conned my 87 year old father into $2800 in stem cell injections in his knees which did him no good. We were in the middle of moving and dr Young said that was fine but the person who injected him said he couldn’t lift anything so they basically did this proceedure even knowing he wasn’t able to rest due to the move.

John Young MD is mainly a salesman, has a persuasive personality and overly sells his products for health. I would not recommend him because his products take precedence over his giving out common sense and simple remedies.

Worst doctor EVER!! Very Incomplete. I Had a physical. Thinking there were things overlooked, sure enough after going to another doctor found there were SEVERAL things of significance that needed immediate attention! STAY AWAY!!!

Very personable Doctor with a lot of knowledge of Functional Medicine. Impressed with him and the professionalism of all his staff. So happy to have found him after having bad experiences with two other doctors who practice functional medicine in the Tampa area.

I have had back pain for over 20 years and thats even after 3 back surgeries. My son in law told me about prp. He had a bad elbow and had prp done and he said it feels so much better so I went in for a consultation at Dr. youngs office and decided to have it done. I have only had one session and I feel so much better. I thoughtwhen I first went in, if they could eliminate a quarter of my pain that would be amazing and they did. I can't wait until I follow through with two more sessions. I found out that my insurance will pay for the 3 sessions which is wonderful. Are you still wake up in the morning leaned over for at least an hour with my back problem and now I wake up I wake up straight. Worst doctor EVER!!! Very incomplete. Had a physical. Thinking there were things overlooked, sure enough, after going to another doctor found there were several things of significance that needed immediate attention! STAY AWAY!!!

Nightmare!! I have a serious condition and initially, Dr. Young seemed O.K. to my husband and I. He then became very complacent and a shade indifferent. Needless to say, after feeling like a guinea pig, where there were ineffective, very unusual weird treatments thrown at me, I moved on to another physician. Thank God it wasn't too late.

Dr Young is a life saver, he is so helpful. He listens, he explains, he cares. I was so afraid before I met him, and he helped me and went over all of my health history and then made his decisions. he didn't just want to write me an RX and get the next patient in... its not always easy to see him but thats only cause he is just sooooo good. worth the wait...

Went to him after a very bad operation. I thought he was wonderful until I started to really get sick from my operation. Beware of him...he is all about money, selling his IVs and NOT about helping you if you really are sick. I was fooled by his Christian front!!! Beware and go to him at your own risk

I went to Dr. Young for a check up and he had me do a blood work. Based on the blood work results he gave me recommendations on treatments and vitamins to take. A few weeks into the treatment I started getting terrible throbbing headaches. It was strange because I haven't had headaches in years, and these headaches would show up all of a sudden like when I was driving. I soon stopped the treatments and visited a different doctor to get a second opinion. The second doctor read my files and was startled to find that Dr. Young's recommendations were completely the opposite of the blood work results ! I did not have the deficiency that Dr. Young claimed I had, I did not need those treatments, and the vitamins he gave were over the daily intake limits ! Imagine my shock when I found out, I felt like I had been poisoned for no reason ! I went to Dr. Young for a check up and he had me do a blood work. Dr. Young discovered 2 genetic "variants" that were a main cause of my fatigue... Thank God for his insight since I do not need to waste time and money on other therapies that would not help.

Our family have been a patients of Dr. Young for 7 years. My husband was on blood pressure medication and cholesterol pills. With proper nutrition, he was off both medications after 3 months. I think he is one of the most knowledgeable Doctors I have ever met. He seems to listen to the patient and has a process to follow. Just wish he were located closer to where I live.
