I’m extremely thankful to Dr Yang and staff, and grateful that I found an opening for me to a dentist I don’t go to for an emergency! After this visit and a COMPLETE thorough conversation covering my concerns I now made this office my dentist. I soon will be moving the whole family here! Did I mention how wonderful the staff is??

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Yang for over 5 years now. He is very professional and polite. I never feel rushed - he always takes his time answering all questions I have in every visit. The staff is also friendly and I have never had any issues. I highly recommend him.

The hygienists, staff, and Dr. Yang are fantastic. I’ve been using them for years and when I got a hair-line feature in my front tooth, Dr. Yang suggested Invisalign to keep my teeth from hitting each other. The experience was smooth and Dr. Yang did everything he could to ensure that my teeth were aligned perfectly.

Dr Yang and his staff are phenomenal! Going to the Dentist can be uncomfortable but Dr Yang and and his amazing assistants/staff honestly make you feel so welcomed. They treat you literally as if you are their family. I have not had good experiences in the past with other practices and Dr Yang actually makes me feel comfortable to know I am in good hands. Nothing feels rushed, they are kind and hear you when you express concerns. They go above and beyond, each and everyone of them. I would highly recommend!

I met Dr Yang as a new patient consultation. He is very knowledgeable, listens and was so empathetic and kind. He reviewed my case and X-rays thoroughly and provided me options and next steps. I have a lot of allergies due to a medical condition and he was so understanding about my history and my concerns and appreciate him going above and beyond to accommodate me. I haven’t had any work completed yet but I would absolutely recommend him and this practice from this first meeting alone. Also the entire staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. * Update: since my first review I’ve had 6 crowns done with Dr Yang and I ABSOLUTELY recommend him! He is the best Dentist I’ve ever had and I wish I found him sooner. His attention to detail and knowledge blows me away. Not only will your smile aesthetically look great He has the skills to do it right. Everyone’s oral health, teeth and variables will be different but I can tell you from my experience Dr Yang will give you honest options and the possible outcomes - what he’s accomplished with my teeth and gums has improved my life so much and this is the team you want:)

Dr. Yang is a phenomenon dentist! He is genuine, gentle, caring, and treats all ages. My 2 sons, ages 8 years and 4 years, as well as my husband all enjoy visiting the dentist now. Highly recommend!

Was in severe nerve pain from a tooth, my wife found this dentist and was grateful. He was very nice compassion for my pain and took tooth out. More important to recommended what to do and explain cost and no forcing me into something can't afford. Won my trust and woke up with little pain and doing well. My new Dentist!

Tru Family Dental is highly recommended. The family atmosphere makes whatever dental work that needs to be done more comfortable. The staff is attentive, caring, and in the case of an emergency will do what is needed to get you in as soon as possible; in my case, 2 times, within hours.

From the time you walk in to the time you leave the front desk is extremely courteous and very helpful the doctors assistants are friendly and I can't say enough about the doctor

Terry is amazing It always makes me feel super comfortable and welcome! The whole staff is very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Yang is very professional and knows what he’s doing. He takes the time to make sure I understand what’s going on with my dental health.

Very dissapointed, please be truthful when scheduling appts. People do not need to drive all the way here for a certain procedure to only be told they can not have it done

Doctor Yang is friendly and he explains everything and answers any questions you have. He, along with his staff, make you feel so comfortable! I do not worry like I use to when I go to the dentist.

Had to get a tooth fills last year from sir yang and they didnt last a year.

Dr. Yang and Terri took great care of my and my family’s teeth. They were great at explaining everything they were doing and anything they recommended. The office staff was always pleasant and very capable. I would highly recommend.

I had a rather difficult tooth removal. Dr. Yang was amazing. The only pain I felt was from having to keep my mouth open. He was able to complete the removal and get me on my way.

My family travels from out of state for Dr Yang and his staff, simply the best!

The doctor came in and did full x-rays on me even though I had them done like 4 months ago. Then, instead of my request for him to fill a rotted tooth with an open hole behind it, he didn't want to do it. Apparently he wanted his $500. That's what he wanted to charge to pull an already loose tooth and replace it with a temporary so he could make more money on a future visit when they would eventually pull all my teeth and put dentures in. For $500, I don't think so. I took my daughter to the dentist just yesterday. Her cavity filling, removal of a different tooth and also a fitting for her teeth spacer all came out to $201. The assistants were rude and the DDS just wanted my money. I'll NEVER go here again. They can contest this post all they want. I stick by my experience. Do yourself a favor and look closer to downtown Crystal Lake for more reasonable pricing and better customer service. Just had my kid's first appointment at Tru and I was truly impressed with Dr. Yang's bedside manner. I finally found a dentist I like and I'm so happy! He reminds me of the dentist I had as a kid - he spends the time to talk to you and explain everything. The office staff and hygienist were amazing, too. I'm so impressed with them!

The staff here is very friendly and so much fun! I had 4 fillings done painlessly...without any numbing...and was in and out in about 20 minutes. I couldn't recommend them more!

Clean, friendly environment. My hygienist, Brandee, was extremely thorough in explaining everything she was doing. If you have dental anxiety or phobia you MUST go here. Finally, a dentist and staff who understand! Dr Yang is so gentle and has such a soothing voice. The office staff is great, special shout out to Tori, who made me feel comfortable. If you have anxiety please choose this dentist, you won't be sorry!

This office feels relaxed for being a dentist office. The hygienist Brandee is awesome she does a wonderful job with cleanings. The doctor is great, you don’t feel like just a number to him but, that he takes his time with making sure you understand everything. Dr. Yang’s work is perfect. Highly recommend this dental office.

This place is amazing. I'd had a tooth extracted about fifteen years ago and the experience had been so-so. I knew my teeth were less healthy this time, and wisdom teeth are harder to access, so I expected it to be a little painful. But Dr. Yang and Diana did a fantastic job - zero pain, and I really mean that. My jaw isn't even sore because he was able to work with me to help me keep it closed and give me small breaks even though he had to get all the way back to my wisdom teeth. Beyond that, they make everything feel accessible and normal. This dentist's office is really the best. I am in the process of getting all my silver fillings replaced. Dr. Yang understands that I had awful experiences with past dentists. He has shown me the utmost professionalism, caring attitude and compassion that I could ever expect to receive from any kind of health practitioner.
