Dr. John D Wyrick

In 2018 I had sustained a serious injury to my leg ejecting 3 inches of bone from my tibia exiting my leg, and shattering the rest, aswell as my fibula and ankle. The Xrays of my leg looked identical to shattered glass and surgeons told me that there was no hope for my leg and that it would have to be amputated. Im so fortunate and blessed Dr. Wyrick came to me in what felt like my darkest hour. He completely rebuilt and saved my leg. I am ever so grateful to him for all his hard work and dedication. Fast forward 4 years from the accident and my leg and ankle are close to perfect with his help and physical therapy! Thank you Dr. Wyrick!! Dr Wyrick did an excellent job rebuilding my elbow. I shattered the ulna and radius, with a "t" fractured humorous so it was a mess. Complicated by an infection I picked up in the ER so he couldn't begin the repairs until almost a month after I broke it. Couldn't be happier.

I just want to say a few years ago on chilly morning about 4 in the morning my left leg snapped in half and my left foot was also broke off holding attached by a piece of skin only. I was pouring blood . I was on the floor, my father found me. The ambulance crew worked on me for half an hour. I remember nothing other than being wheeled out. I was in critical condition hanging on for my life as I had lost so much blood which they could not stop. Dr. Wyrick was there at UC when I came in. I had woke up on the table at one point and saw my bone sticking out with blood dripping. I passed back out. I woke up that I remember 4 days later. They told me I was in critical condition and Dr. Wyrick saved my life. He also saved my leg and foot, putting everything back together with rods. Thank you Dr. Wyrick! May God bless you . He was very nice when I met him a few times later for check ups. If you get him after a bad accident, you will be in very good hands! Had it not been for Dr. Wyrick, I would have lost my left leg.

Dr. Wyrick truly cares about his patient . He's patient and listens to your questions and concern . He's the best in my opinion and I've seen several orthopedic doctor .

Dr. Wyrick is taking phenomenal care of my mom, and has surpassed my expectations for having a good “bedside manor.” In such a tragic event, we are SO blessed to fall into his hands. We will forever be grateful for his exceptional care. We also wanted to thank his assistant, Marissa, too. She explains everything in detail and we are thankful to have her as well! Shattered my radial head and he was the only doctor in the area who could do the surgery. He took good care of me

In 2001, I shattered my left tibia, after being told at St. Elizabeth in Florence KY that all they could do was amputate my lower leg, my dad said no, send me somewhere they could help me. Thanks to Dr. John Wyrick I'm still walking today

I was in a auto accident and was under the care of another doctor for months and was headed toward losing my leg. It was suggested that I see Dr Wyrick, within a week he had me in surgery. After several procedures spread over 9 months, allowing time for bone growth, I am back walking normal again with both legs. I can't thank Dr Wyrick enough.
