Through the years, he's been very thorough, and courteous. Did my cataract surgery (2) and referred me for my eye lift. Have been very pleased with all my appointments. Happy for his retirement, and hope he enjoys all he does. Hershberger office is the place to go!!! Thanks for everything.....

Dr. Wood is and always has been a top-notch, exceptional ophthalmologist ! Not only does he have the "smarts", but also is gifted with a good personality and knows how to put patients at ease. Today was probably my last visit with him because I am now 85 and my sons do not want me to drive to Roanoke out on Hershberger Road when I can see a Vistar doctor in Rocky Mount now. I have been with Dr. Wood for a very long time, and I will miss seeing him, but that's what happens with aging (me).
