Great doctor great bed side manner so kind. My daughter had so many problems and he helped us to get thru it. He is now taking care of my husband and is glad to make sure he is in the best hands in Ft Wayne In to have a biopsy on his thyroid. SO happy to be his patient! Thanks John.

Basically told me it's a swollen lymph node if it gets bigger come back didnt look at the ultrasound I had done or nothing not even the xrays

Excellent experience with Dr. Westfall and his staff.

The Doctor insulted my Dr because he was “one of those young guys”. He went around the corner and told another Dr that there was nothing wrong etc. That other Dr didn’t necessarily agree and ordered more testing. It’s not just that his findings disregard all my symptoms, test findings, and prior medical Dr’s findings - but it’s HOW he disagreed. It was his dismissive and derisive tone. It was his insistence on asking the age of everyone I previously worked with. It was the fact that his tone indicated I might be making it up, and all in earshot because he had this convo around the corner to a Asian Dr, and I felt bad for her. She was very nice to me, and he talked loudly at her (she was not hard of hearing) likely because she had a slight accent. Maybe it’s because he was so old he doesn’t understand that talking louder doesn’t make potential language barriers any easier. The Doctor insulted my Dr because he was “one of those young guys”. Took my 4yr old to see Dr. Westfall concerning congestion, & heavy breathing. 3 minutes after explaining her symptoms to the assistant, he came into the room & had made up in his mind that she needed tonsillectomy!! None of her symptoms were related to her tonsils needing to be removed. He spent all of 5 minutes with her(mostly explaining the surgery). It wasn't the diagnosis that disappointed me, it was when I asked if there were any other options & he simply showed us the door!! If you are not seeking surgery, I suggest you go some place else. Worst co-pay I've ever paid!! If I could give them no stars I would!!! He was horrible. Totally disregarded why I was in there. Insulted my pcp saying he didn’t think I have ever had fluid in my ears when my pcp has said otherwise several times. Don’t waste your time. His bedside manner needs work too. Arrogant.

Very kind and gentle, professional. Made a scary experience not scary!

Spent all of 4 minutes on me...didn't seem to care about any of my symptoms. He literally at one point ignored what I was saying and just kept on talking about how my lymph nodes weren't "that swollen" They hurt tho!!!!!. I went to see him because both sides of my face in the cheek region are extremely painful....to the point where I just sit and cry sometimes. I can feel lumps in my face where it hurts....he basically told me it was all in my head, Worst doctor I have ever been to in my entire life. Didn't order any tests...absolutely nothing. I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy ....it's really upsetting because I was so hopeful that he would be able to at least order some imaging of some kind. He made me feel like just because I'm young I must be dumb. You should believe your patient when they say that something isn't right....it's my body, I know when there are lymph nodes swollen in my face....he acted like there was nothing he could do..like I would just have to deal with it forever. His bedside manner was atrocious. Basically we just paid 50 bucks for nothing but utter disappointment. I really hate leaving bad reviews...but it's my health! and I felt like other people should know not to waste their time on him. Dr. Westfall was our daughters surgeon. He was very kind and made us feel at ease. He sat down with us and answered all of our questions. Dr. Westfall and the nurses at the surgery center were all wonderful! We were very pleased!

Very professional and a good bedside manner. Would highly recommend.

He had no desire to take the time to help me. I felt like he was pushing me out the door right after he came in.

I will never return to Dr. Westfall, nor will I recommend him to anyone. He spent less than 5 minutes with me & did not listen to what I said. He cut me off from what I was saying multiple times & basically told me I was suffering from allergies but I was fine. He offered nothing else. Please explain to me why my teeth hurt, head throbs, head is plugged & I wake up sweating, etc. This is normal to him and I can get an xray when I am bad (If I am not bad now, not sure what he thinks is bad).

All he was concerned about was getting me out of the office as quickly as he could. Didn't want to take the time to find out what was bothering me. Don't waste your time.

One of the worst experiences ever. Waited 1 1/2 hour to see the doctor. He spent 5 minutes with me and prescribed an ear drop to be called into Walgreens. When I got to my car, I noticed the prescription was called into Walmart. Went back in and asked to have it sent to Walgreens. I was then told that I had to call Walmart and have them send it to Walgreens. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I won't be going back! One of the worst experiences ever. He was great with my Son. Couldn't have asked for a better dr.

I have called over 8 times in one month attempting to make an appointment. Including staying on hold once for over 15 minutes. Still unsuccessful. Too bad this is the 2nd ENT I've had a problem with. Maybe I'll just stop in to the actual office, THAT'S AN HOUR AWAY.

Dr. Westfall has the worst bedside manner I have ever encountered in my 66 years. He was rude and acted as if he could have cared less. He was of no help and could have cared less. Never will I recommend him to anyone.

I wasn't accurately diagnosed. I wasn't given the time of day. A family medicine doctor accurately diagnosed me later and actually cared and tried to help me. It ended up being a simple diagnoses--one that potentially saved me from losing my hearing in my early twenties.
