If I could give zero stars I would. Dr Uhorchak was dismissive and uninterested in discussing my ACL tear, treatment, and timeline. He made zero attempts to understand my goals as a patient and my level of activity and sports pre- and post-surgery. He provided zero information regarding pre-habilitation exercises that I should have been doing leading up to surgery. I did my own research, found an excellent and top-notch surgeon at Hospital For Special Surgery, and I’m grateful that I immediately went for a second opinion. After waiting for an hour and 15 mins for what was supposed to be an 8:30am appointment, Dr U spent 15 minutes with me. My surgeon at HSS spent 2 hours walking me through the pre-surgery expectations, the procedure itself, and anticipated post-op recovery timeline, based on my pre-existing level of activity and after getting a deep understanding of my athletic background. unless you desire to have your questions answered with “because I’ve been doing this for over 30 years”, I’d encourage all potential patients to look elsewhere. HSS and NYU have proven success for me and my family personally.

Dr. Uhorchak is amazing. Looked at my injury and predicted 100% accurately what the MRI ended up confirming, after a different ortho dismissed it as minor and not requiring surgery, ended up having to have my tendon reattached. Dr. Uhorchak's surgery went great, and I'm stronger than I was before the injury.

Waste of time. Don't go there. I felt like the Doctor had no time for me. He spent a good time talking to me standing by the opened door.

First and foremost thank you sir for serving our country and saving so many lives in battle and thank you. Dr Uhorchak for being such a fine doctor . I don’t trust many people in this world but I trust this wonderful team of workers .He has performed many surgeries on me and I’m sure there is more to come. I cannot Recommend him highly enough. He is a very knowledgeable man.Always makes himself available for his patients !!! I mean I love this place wholeheartedly especially Dr Uhorchak !!!. You all are heroes in my book . Do not come here. Both times I came here I waited just under, and then OVER an hour to be seen, and then the dr couldn't get me out of the room fast enough, like my questions were annoying him. I could hear the employees of the office blasting loud music and complaining about how late they had to stay. The information I got from this DR I could have just Googled and saved myself an hour drive and the cost of a copay. If I have to see an ortho again I will be seeing a different doctor. Top notch orthopedic surgeon!! So very impressed by his expertise and bedside manner. He took great care of my 86 y.o. Dad who sustained a fractured hip. Knowing too much in this field, I was skeptical whether or not to proceed with surgery, however, I put all of my faith and trust in Dr. John Uhorchak and his O.R. Team and so glad I did! Dr. Uhorchak has treated me for two different medical issues. He has been very clear and up front about surgery, options, expected outcome and pain management. He listens carefully and takes the time needed to be thorough. He explained all options and let me decide my treatment. He has a wonderful bedside manor. I highly recommend Dr. Uhorchak. The office staff has always treated me well, office wait time can vary as in all Dr. Offices and can be explained by the doctors thoroughness. TE

Doctor was excellent with surgery and medical staff is very good. Office staff is horrible, rude, incompetent. Would not use this facility again because of office staff. I can't believe doctors are not aware how patients are treated. Scheduling is a joke and there is no follow-up on phone calls. Although I am happy with the doctor, he really needs to make some changes in office procedures.
