John P. Thomas

I've known Dr. Thomas for many years. He provided care to my mother and now he is my PCP. He takes the time to explain things when I don't understand. Best PCP I've ever had.

refused to test my for lyme. I tested positive for it at a different clinic with in the Elliot system. also repeatedly brushed of my, my sister's, and my mother's pain, but never my father's. He would also only treat my sister if her husband stood up for her.

Dr. Thomas takes time to explain things, and ask questions. A very thorough check-up.

He lied to my and my mother about chronic Lyme, which he claimed didn't exist.

I find DrThomas to be very friendly . He takes more time than most doctors with me . He answers all questions . Thoughtful about treatments asks my options about medications and treatment options , I find him to be a caring competent physician .

I have been a lifelong asthmatic since I was 7 years old. Dr. Thomas would not prescribe me more than one inhaler per YEAR until, as he told me, "he got to know me better". When my cholesterol came back high he talked down to me as if I was deliberately unhealthy. I am not overweight and don't smoke or anything like that. Terrible doctor!

He used to be my family Dr. My wife still uses his office. I went to him with head pain that was giving me migraine headaches. He immediately determined the pain (absolutely NO RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE TWO) was coming from a large muscle that was so far off base I had to move to another doctor in another system to get results that didn't involve using prescription drugs. He uses medicine to bandaid problems rather than sending you to specialists who are better suited to deal with your problems

Very blunt doctor. Came in with a poor attitude to me as a patient because his office staff did something wrong by scheduling me in and I felt like that set the tone for the visit. He was borderline rude as I began explaining my situation, interrupted me, scolded me for being late (by 2 minutes) and made very presumptious remarks about my personality after having had just 3 sheets of general medication information and the fact I smoked. Displeased with temperament and condescending approach
