Great eye doctor and staff. Also helped my father out with an eye infection while traveling out of state.

There are people that come into our lives in ordinary ways and for which we often times spare little if any thought. If those people, like most, then disappear from us or simply appear at intervals, then we've got another acquaintance. However, there are some that from an ordinary introduction, and through their own kindness, or caring become to us extraordinary people. Truly rare in these times. Dr. Spaeth is such an individual. At first he was simply my "eye doctor"...once a year, read the chart, what is clearer this or this? You know. Then everything changed in the span of 3 days, and he became extraordinary. In short, one very infected eye, a startled eye-doctor, and a weekend where he came every day to the office to make sure I was doing well. So yes, I have a huge debt with him that has nothing to do with money. The way I "see" things, (bad punn) I have the use of my left eye because he cared and continues to care. You will not find a better doctor, a better optometrist, or a better man.

Dr Spaeth is very personable and professional. He performs thorough testing and clearly explains results and suggested treatment. Every visit is a pleasant experience. Best experience I've had with eye care!

I have had eye care from Dr Spaeth for over 10 years. He is knowledgeable, engaged, approachable and pleasant. No area docs are as experienced in gas perm lenses (RGP), and I feel fortunate that he is nearby and able to keep me fitted with bifocal contacts so I can avoid readers. He is accommodating with appt times and makes himself available when needed. I cannot imagine anyone rating him below a 5! I am a medical profession myself, and highly recommend him.
