My son's doctor used Dr. Shepherd at Tejas Anesthesia. I specifically asked that they get pre-authorization (like many people, I've been caught on this in the past). I was assured that all pre-autos had been received. Then sure enough I get a bill from Tejas Anestesia (Dr. Shepherd) for $541.58. Insurance denied not the surgery procedure. My son's Doctor blames the Anesthesiologist and the Anesthesiologist blames the Doctor. When I called I was basically told pay or go to collections.
