Dr. Serpa is the only doctor that I have been to for pain managment, I have seen many, for chronic pain that has been effective. He listens carefully to me and has made my quality of life much better than before I was not able to walk across the street before seeing him and now I can walk over 6000 steps a day . Thanks Doctor.

all i could say if you have the time to spent all day , you might as well take a lunch bag, and t.v , water, snacks, cause there's no way your leaving anytime soon, one day you go and its by appointment , another day you go and it first come first serve, doctor is only there one day in the office so they over book from 30 patients to 40 patients, the reception area they act like if your not present, just a warning be really to spent the day there, also the nurse gave the shot, and didn't even put a bandaid on the injection site, and don't complaint cause they will call your name and stick you in a room, and take all the other patient in the recep, area and make you wait two more hours all i could say if you have the time to spent all day , you might as well take a lunch bag, and t.v , water, snacks, cause there's no way your leaving anytime soon, one day you go and its by appointment , another day you go and it first … More

This office is hard to reach. The line stays forwarded to an answering service and then the call drops. Tried for two days.

If Hippocrates, the father of medicine, was still alive, he would have been proud to see that there are still doctors like Dr. Serpa, having said that, it’s not much else to add. Dr. SERPA is a role model and a genuine source of inspiration to both: other colleagues, and his patients. He cured my painful knees with his professional knowledge and the magic of his hands. I highly recommend Dr. SERPA as an interventional pain management specialist. I also feel so thankful for the entire staff members of his office!!

Dr.Serpa and his staff are the best. Very caring and concerned about how you are doing. I would recommend him to anyone that needed pain management.

EDIT: My original review contained several strong complaints regarding the staff at this office but not regarding Dr. Serpa. However, I am changing my review because I was impressed when I received a call from Dr. Serpa personally to listen and discuss my concerns. Additionally, his staff contacted my wife and did their best to correct their mistakes and apologize. Time and time again Dr. Serpa has shown his personal commitment to his patients and I can confidently say he is the best pain physician in South Florida. My wife has spent all of her adult life with severe pain every minute of every hour of every day. After years of trying everything Dr. Serpa was the only one able to provide true pain relief and gave my wife back the quality of life she had lost. Dr. Serpa and his staff made my visit stress-free and quick. He was easy to understand and listened to all my concerns. I have already recommended him to a family member!

Dr. Serpa was pleasant, easy to talk to and very thorough.

Dont even waste your time going out there. I did not meet with whom I thought I would meet, instead I waited 4 hours to meet with someone who did not tell me his name, he spent more time on the computer and not reviewing my MRI'S nor X Ray,s. I would not recommend this MD to my worse enemy, in addition since they were in my insurance network they tried to charge a huge amount of services not provided to my insurance company. Without a doubt my worse MDs visit ever!!! They should not be calling themselves healers, when in fact they do quite the opposite...

Dr Serpa was recommended to me years ago for my pain management for multiple ankle surgeries and CRPS. I didn’t seek his help over 20 years ago and I regret it so much. In the 3 months I have been seeing Dr Serpa I have gotten more relief than the dozen doctors I had sought out previously. Our lives are precious and so is our time don’t let the years of suffering pass you by as it did to me. My only regret is not coming sooner. Absolutely amazing Dr. , I have reccomended several friends and family members and he has been life changing them and myself! Honest, knowledgeable,and fair wait times!

Dr. Serpa is one of the best Dr.'s I have been to in South Florida his knowledge of the latest therapies and bedside manner is one of a kind in a city of masses. While he worked with the Baptist Health System he was my anesthesiologist for my surgery & also was the Dr. that years later performed my spinal tap for my MS diagnosis. He has seen me through pain management during my MS exacerbation with complicated health history of allergies to different medications. Also cared for me through cancer diagnosis and spinal injury. Always showing his human side as if he were the patient while also solving the critical medical problem. Dr. Serpa is worth driving anywhere he is. His Assistant; Armando is also very caring and professional. His support staff, front door girls and behind the scenes girls are very professional which it's a blessing when you need PA with your insurance for approval on a new medication or treatment and they don't lag in prioritizing the authorizations because they understand and care if their patients go without the proper medication. Dr. Serpa is the most attentive, patient, and selfless doctor you could find. As a pain doctor who holds an interventional pain practice, he goes out of his way to find the best treatment options for his patients. His charismatic personality is unmatched. Dr. Serpa handles all types of cases from cancer, MS, arthritis, spine problems just to name a few. He offers holistic options by promoting CBD products in his practice as well as platelet rich plasma (PRP). His staff and Nurse Practitioners, cater to all patients and accommodate them as much as they can, especially with emergency situations that come up. Dr. Serpa is one of the best Doctor's I've ever had. I originally went to him after herniating discs in my back & he was the only one who was able to help with the pain relief. I see him often as he treats me for peripheral neuropathy. He has vastly improved my quality of life & I've referred many other people to him & they all couldn't be happier. His office staff is very helpful & attentive. I love that he has 2 offices now, this one and the one in Coral Gables. Dr. Serpa is one of the best Doctor's I've ever had. I have been a patient of Dr. Serpa for 17 years. I have severe trigeminal neuralgia that gives me horrific pain. I receive nerve blocks about 4 times a year. I can function and live with out pain thanks to him. I really cannot say enough about his kindness and professionalism. He gave me my life back!! His Team is excellent and delivers great care and attention. Thank you to him and Team!! t

I had an appt with Dr. Serpa today. Instead the Nurse Practitioner comes in the room empty handed, no chart. Nothing. I asked him if he had seen the results of the MRI that I provided his office an hour before my appt and he said what MRI. The office staff failed to provide the nurse practitioner with a copy of my MRI. I my opinion, Dr. Serpa’s office is unprepared and incompetent. I do not plan to return to this office. The nurse practitioner did not like what I said and and refused to see me.

Amazing Dr all the way around. Persnable, makes you feel comfortable and not scared of procedure, doesn't push pills on you (not common for a PAIN Dr) has cared for me, my father and countless friends and collegues I have reffered!
