The whole experience was easy. They were able to get me in fairly quickly and take X-rays at the appointment. They were on time and didn’t keep me waiting. Professional and helpful. Thank you.

Dr and staff are very professional, efficient and even pleasant. Office is clean and tidy. X-rays on site and little wait time for anything. I would recommend and already have.

In Sept 2022 I went to John Schilero about a right big toenail which had grown back deformed (again). He's in the same office as my trusted orthopedist of many years. Schilero removed the top layer of the nail, told me to use OTC antifungal cream & come back in a couple months. In Dec.2022 I returned to show him the ugly nail was back & to request permanent removal. The visit was bizarre. They tried to take an X-ray of my right foot. I refused. Schilero tried 3X to convince me the right foot was swollen. Later PBOI billed me for an X-ray not taken, but then refiled with the insurance company when I complained. I requested my patient records & was shocked to find false information: my left foot hurt, my right foot hurt, the pain was getting worse! I sent a request to AMEND my records to PBOI, but they haven't responded. He billed $590 for removal of the nail bed, which didn't happen, & I paid $252 of that. Unacceptable behavior. PBOI is responsible for the actions of this provider!

Communicates and listen to patient. Gives an appoint within a week. Informs patient how take care of their injury at home, if it get doesn’t better . Keep your appointment. Staff is very welcoming.

Dr. Schilero is very kind and professional. Knowledgeable at his profession, I felt very good about his diagnosis. The office is run by very nice people. My appointment was on time and not a lot of waiting. I am really happy I chose PBO.

This was my first surgery with Dr. Schilero, my 3rd with the POI. I have high praise for what they are doing there. Always friendly and knowledgeable, complete and thorough. I had achilles tendon repair and was never nervous. They instilled complete confidence in there work from the very beginning throughout the process. I contacted PBOI this morning via Text Message because I had Hurt my Foot, on Wednesday & finally decided to See a Professional Dr.,they were able to See me Today,1/3/2022 in the Afternoon. Which great! I got Diagnosed with a Broken 4 Digit Toe, the one closest to the Pinky Toe. The check in is easy, the staff are friendly and the wait is not long. I love Natasha, Dr Schilero’s assistant. She’s so attentive and helped me through a tough time before and after my surgery. Staff was professional, as always. Wait time was acceptable, social distancing and masks were in effect. Dr. Schilero was prompt, attentive and had an excellent "bedside" manner. Explained in detail, without confusion, what he saw and suggested treatment. I would highly recommend Dr. Schilero and Palm Beach Ortho Group to my friends and family. Went in for a wart removal. He removed some nailbed without letting me know ahead of time, and now it looks awful. He did not tell me that I'd be unable to wear close toed shoes for up to two weeks (Which I NEED TO DO for proper PPE.) It was incredibly difficult to walk now because I have orthopedic issues, which he should have known about, since I've been to doctors AND physical therapists within his practice, literally in the same suite as him. He did not give me proper post care instructions for cleaning either. The practice said I'd have a $0 copay, and the visit wound up costing almost $300. He was not honest with me, he was not professional with me, and I can't imagine a simple wart removal having gone any worse without ending in an amputation.

Went to have a toe fixed. After thousands of dollars and appointments in an office setting that made me feel like cattle being herded in and rushed out, my toe is in far worse shape than it was when I started and when I asked about it, was told it was arthritis and that was "as good as it's going to get".

I've seen this doctor 3 times and each time I've had to wait 45 minutes to an hour. When booking my 3rd appointment even one of the nurses said to make it a bit later because although they schedule appointments earlier, he doesn't usually show up to the office till about 8:45. Obviously, this doctor feels his time is more important than mine. While meeting with him, on my follow up, I had to remind him of everything that was said and done on my first visit. Didn't really feel like he wanted to be there. I don't expect a doctor in a larger group to remember every patient but at least take a glance at the notes before you walk in. Little instruction was given to me, I had to ask the nurse. Would not recommend.

I enjoyed my visit with Dr. Schilero. Answered all of my questions and offered treatment options. Very personable. My foot had a stress fracture and he is working with me to repair the problem.

Dr. Schilero is very personable and knowledgeable. He communicated clearly and thoroughly. He quickly, gently and with regard to my nerves took care of my medical needs. I would highly recommend him.

I went to Dr. Shilero for a second opinion for my ankle that I was originally told was sprained and had a partial tear in the ligament. After 6 weeks in a boot, 2 months of physical therapy and daily anti inflammatory medication I saw little improvement. Dr. Shilero re-evaluated my MRI and indicated I had a complete tear and would require a different course of treatment. He was very thorough and courteous throughout the appointment. I went to see Dr. Schilero for ankle pain that I've had for years. He was very nice and took his time explaining why I was having the pain. He gave me helpful suggestions and a list of exercises to do at home. His staff is also very helpful and caring! Went in and saw John Schilero, D.P.M. he is the most rudest dr i have ever met! After going over my foot issue told me the treatment he wanted me to do is not covered by insurance and would cost me 89.00 i was shocked and never asked how many i had to do. When i said i needed to do whatever is covered by insurance he told me i will do whatever to dr tells me to do. Then i told him no i will do whaterver o could afford. He then told me surgey was stupid. As i turned to put my stuff back in my bag he said oh what are you going to cry now. I told him no we are done here and you are very rude and walked out. Just went to see Dr. Schilero, about a growth on my toe. His front desk staff was nice, I didn’t get much interaction with him besides him telling me to come back in a month after cutting the growth off, he was very short with little beside manners. But the lady at checkout was a whole other type of dumb. She was wrong about what my insurance was supposed to cover, she was wrong about how much my office visit actually costed and gave me a print out of completely inaccurate charges that I wasn’t even spoken to about. When I called my insurance to verify how much I should’ve actually paid I called his billing department back and they directed me to the supervisor who told me I was interrupting her work flow over simple human error.... excuse me??? Mind you she hung up on the phone on me after she said that... my insurance has a recorded line of them speaking to their billing reps about what my allowables are and are 100% willing to verify them if need be, but no. These people fought with me for over an hour saying “they don’t know where she got that information from” meaning the lady at checkout... I’m left dumb founded asking why is that acceptable just to be rudely hung up on by the supervisor... mind you my appointment was at 9:30, I showed up 15 minutes early and wasn’t seen till 10:10... these are the rudest group of people I’ve EVER met in a doctors office, and I’ve seen at least 20 different doctors up and down the east coast for multiple different reasons.
