Dr. Scala was extraordinary. His experience and kindness on our first visit made me feel confident that he is the best pediatrician for my children.

Outstanding physician. Takes his time to focus on your health asking questions of you about everything that may be going on with you. Very caring person and very competent. I trust his judgment entirely.

Dr Scala became my primary physician when a change in my medical insurance necessitated me to find a new physician. This ended up to be my good fortune for I found his care superb in every way: compassionate, knowledgable, and accessible. I would not hesitate to suggest someone choose to go to him for any health concern. His network of known specialists aids in the full care of options one often needs. Lastly his office staff are wonderful to work with, patient, kind, and helpful.

This doctor is exceptional. He is smart and to the point. I feel like I have excellent care at his office. His staff are friendly and kind.

I started taking my son, (my first baby) and I am a typical over protective Mom. Dr. Scala is amazing!! Very helpful, kind and extremely smart. He never rushes you and answers every question. And his office runs on time!! I have not had to wait more than 5 minutes past my scheduled time.

Dr. Scala has been taking care of our now, 2 yrs old son since he was born. It's great satisfaction to have Dr. Scala take complete care of our little one, educate my wife and myself for every minute detail that we need to know ahead of time. Things don't come as a surprise with Dr. Scala in charge. Much kudos to the staff as well that make every visit useful & worthwhile. Dr. Scala has been on top of providing great care and consultation. He has great understanding and consideration about people coming from various cultures and ethnicity and that has helped us a lot in sharing our concerns & questions with him. It's no surprise that He was recommended to us by a family friend and I would never hesitate to do the same. My child has been seeing Dr. Scala for 5 years, as a family of a medically complex child, we don’t know what we would do without him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Scala's for years. My entire family is under his care. His staff has always been top notch and his care and compassion for his patients is exemplary. I am extremely particular about my healthcare and make sure whatever coverage I get under my employer, it includes Dr. Scala.

Dr. Scala is a kind, nice and smart doctor. He also has a very nice and competent staff. I've been a patient for years and so is my son. We're extremely satisfied.

I have never experienced a doctor who was less interested in my well being. He was disconnected, condescending, and completely unwilling to address my issues. I have since found another doctor who was not only caring but quick and incredibly effective in address my heath concern.

Dr. Scala was my primary care for physician for years. Exceptionally knowledgeable, caring and kind, he always took the time to ask about family, friends and life in addition to addressing any concerns. Dr. Scala has been not only our children’s pediatrician since their births but also myself and my husbands family dr. He was the first person to see me when I first found out I was pregnant. That was my very first appointment with him and I’ll never forget it. I am a type1 diabetic, and was a high risk pregnancy. Immediately this man and his staff made me feel more taken care of than any other dr office I’ve ever been to. His kindness and knowledge and concern for every one of his patients shows through in his work and dedication every single day. I will forever be thankful to this man for all he has done for my family! We all enjoy going to see him, it’s never been a dreadful experience or anything remotely close! We found his calming demeanor to be extremely helpful when we were first-time parents (aka nervous ???? ) parents and we continue to trust his expertise as both a physician and parent. Have enjoyed the health care that I have received from Dr. Scala so much that I intend to follow him to his new practice next year.

Never feel rushed during visits. Dr. Scala seems to be on top of latest trends in medical care and actually listens to you. He has helped me reduce and in some cases eliminate some of my medications.

I have seen Dr. Scala on several occasions when my assigned Primary Care Physician was not available. I needed to see someone this past Monday, and it was Dr. Skala who volunteered to stay late to work me in. I was experiencing serious side effects from recent surgery. He made a few changes in my medication that got me through immediate danger and on the right track. He was very thorough in answering my questions, as well as my husband's, and showed a genuine interest in my getting well.

I found Dr. Scala after my insurance coverage changed. He took me the same day I called. I had a major medical problem and he was kind, compassionate and responsive. He really listened to me! As a collegiate and professional football player, I've had my share of visits with various physicians. Hands down, John Scala, MD is the most thorough, knowledgeable, and caring doctor I have ever met! His calm demeanor immediately put me at ease. He didn't rush through the exam...he answered all my questions, and asked if I had any further concerns. In today's healthcare system where the bottom line (seemingly) rules and patients feel like just a number, Dr. Scala is a rare find!

I have been a patient of Dr. Scala for many years and throughout that time he and his staff have been among the most professional, knowledgeable and personable people I have ever met. They are always very courteous, and of all the visits I have had I do not think I have waited more than 5 minutes from my arrival to be seen despite being 15 minutes early to the appt. It is rare that people in the medical field are so respectful of their patient's time. He has my highest recommendation.

Dr Scala has been managing care for my dad for years. He is caring, thorough and knowledgeable. He ensures that the recommendations he makes are the best for dad and takes the time to call me to explain. Provides excellent care and we are grateful.

Doctor Scala has been our family physician for over 5 years. In addition to being the most caring and intelligent family physician we have ever had, my husband, who would rarely see our previous doctors, says he likes Dr Scala so much, that he no longer balks at going to the doctor. In addition, his front office staff is never short...no matter how long their day. And there is no need to go to urgent care during the week because they have a system which enables them to schedule you.

Dr. Scala is a great resource and is quite knowledgeable. For example, he diagnosed what was causing my elevated potassium level, which was preventing me from being accepted into a clinical trial. The culprit was magnesium. Who would have thought that magnesium would affect my potassium level, but Dr. Scala did! I am a fan!

We've been with the group going on ten years or so. Never a complaint. You tell them what you need and they'll figure out a way. John and his entire team are A+

It was a great experience to take my son to Dr. Scala office. It was our first time visiting a pediatrician in US and he has been very meticulously during the appointment, checking the shots books, and patiently explained all details about the current strepted throat my son was facing. Further on, we have some questions about the prescribed collateral effects medicine and we were very well attended by the nursery practitioner and afterward Dr. Scala call us to see if it was all ok. Very good!

Dr. Scala has been my doctor for a long time. He has always been very friendly and attentive, caring and very helpful in helping me get better with whatever illness I had. His office is quick to always get me in for an appointment when needed. I would (and have) certainly recommend Dr. Scala to any friends and family.

Dr. Scala and his staff have provided my wife and I exceptional care since we moved here 4 years ago. He carefully monitors our medications and refers us to excellent specialists when required. We wouldn't consider seeing any other family physician.

I recently had an occasion to call my PCP doctor's office for an appointment for that day as I was feeling terrible. My PCP was not in that day but her office partner, Dr. Scala was in although busy was able to fit me into his schedule. Fortunately he was able to do so as it turned out that I had strep as well as bronchitis. If I had to wait another day to get in I can't imagine how much worse I might have gotten in that time. Dr. Scala was caring and interested and much appreciated.

Dr. Scala displays a quiet, confident intellect that allows him to explain complex medical problems in terms/ words we can understand. As boomers, we appreciate his honest, straightforward approach to our aging issues. Also, with the constraints and impositions of federal medical guidelines, we are constantly impressed by how much time he gives us at our thorough, comprehensive exams. Thanks Dr. Scala for reminding us how medicine should be practiced.

Dr. Scala always takes plenty of time with me at each visit. I feel he knows me personally, not just medically. He responds promptly with follow-up questions. He seems to be very up-to-date with the needs of a senior.

Over the years I have seen several primary care doctors both men and women. Dr John Scala has been the absolute best doctor I have seen. He is up to date on the latest treatments but he is also truly engaged and devoted to helping me with all my health concerns and needs. When I needed a specialist he is connected with a network of professionals of the highest caliber that can be obtained. He stays engaged in the treatment and he personally calls me at home to report test results.

Dr Scala is great. He is pragmatic and caring. He is great at responding to issues that arise and is wonderful about trying to squeeze people in when ever he can. The whole team at lone tree internal medicine are excellent!
