Dr. John Franklin Sandbach

Dr Sandbach worked with me to reduce the likelihood of the cancer returning. He spent the extra time to provide the statistics of a large cancer study. He listens to his patients and helps them in his personal way. ...very impressed!

Shocked this guy was a doctor (Sandbach) for so long. I have never met anyone with such poor judgement/leadership skills in my entire life. So glad he is now gone!!

I have an appointment with Dr Hudson on Monday, July 19th, due to Dr. Sandbach 's scheduler, Brie. She is extremely diligent, customer friendly and managed to squeeze me into her schedule. I am very grateful to her. I have a DVT and need to see Dr Hudson. I was in the hospital 7/9-7/10, discharged with instructions to follow up with my doctors, both hemotologist and primary, both of which I have appointments, Dr. Hudson, first and most importantly.

I have had the wonderful experience of having Dr. Sandbach as my Hematologist and my husbands oncologist for many years. He is patient, kind and understanding about what you are going through. He takes time to make sure you know what is happening. What is going to be happening and how he and the staff are all there to help.

He is caring and listens , I do not have cancer but I’m a high risk patient.

He makes any situation you might find yourself in, whether it is the worst or not a big deal, with respect and a positive outlook on your situation. He is kind, distracts you with stories. Each room that is Dr. Sandbach has is decorated with warm funny, serious, and distracting pictures of his family and some of his adventures.

I would recommend Dr. Sandbach to my family and friends. He is experienced, caring, accessible and explains everything in a scientific and caring manner. Texas oncology is very efficient and the staff exstremely caring.

I thank God for John Sandbach. He managed my treatment for advanced colorectal cancer years ago. I had many surgical complications, including a year-long staph infection. As a single parent of a five-year old, I was desperate to raise my daughter. I was an angry, difficult patient and his strong personality matched mine step for step. If you want your prognosis sugarcoated, he's not your guy. If you want the truth and the best possible care, he is. He's honest, direct - and very compassionate.

Dr. Sandbach does not care about the patient and talks trash about other hospitals. He values his own time over the patient's and spends no time explaining or answering questions. Stay away from him if possible. He needs to just retire.
