Cannot recommend Dr Russell enough. His bedside manner is so great. You can really tell he cares about you. He comes in asking how you are, gives you time to explain anything that’s going on with you. Makes sure he asks if you have any questions, he’s very thorough. Dr Russel takes his time and thoroughly go through your scans. He explains and shows any differences in the scans. He allows you time to ask questions. My husband was the one asking questions. Dr Russell answered any questions he had.

Dr. Russell takes the time necessary to make you understand your treatment options and go thru your results to ensure your understanding of your situation. One of the best bedside manners I’ve seen in a long time. My experience with the doctors at Mobile Infirmary’s cancer center has been phenomenal and am blessed to have such caring physicians, nurses, technologists and support staff. He has seen me over the last 4 yrs for my breast tumor updates after radiology and I was so impressed at how well he explained everything about my own questions, xrays, mammograms etc...

My husband and I both have been treated by Dr. Russell at the Mobile Infirmary Cancer Center. I had rectal cancer in 2014 and my husband had Prostate Cancer in 2008. His staff was excellent, his "bedside manner" was the best, his facility is clean and pleasant and I cannot think of one bad thing to say about the entire experience. We are both CANCER FREE now and all thanks to GOD and to John Russell!!!

I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Russell. He spends as much time as you need explaining the radiation procedures and answering your questions. He never treats you as anything less than a person with concerns that deserve to be addressed.

I think Dr. Russell is a great doctor and a great guy. He explains things to you and treat you like a person not just a patient. I would recommend him to any one. Charlotte Chamblin
