Yes, I would recommend Dr. Pippen to my family and friends. He is kind and shows concern for me as his patient. He is calm and will answer all your questions, even if you have one or 20. He explains the process and makes sure you understand what is going on. He gets an A+ for bed side manner.

Dr. Pippen has been a great partner in discussing my treatment and is always available to talk. I always feel heard, respected and he gave me great information to help me make the right choice for my treatment. The staff is always efficient and kind, rarely wait long for an appointment.

Dr. Pippen and the staff are all very caring and concerned about you getting the best possible care to make your life and the quality of life the best it can be.

This was an annual visit on January 12, 2021. We did review genetic testing done the previous year and my progress as I take the chemo drug, Tamoxifen. He examined me and asked what questions, or problems I might have. Later in early February I contacted him re: my total hysterectomy I will be undergoing in March. He immediately said to stop the Tamoxifen and we would touch base after about 6 weeks from surgery date to discuss other options in place of Tamoxifen. Dr Pippen is a very personable, approachable physician and has taken care of me very well. Thank you very much.

Dr. John Pippen has been my Oncologist for over 6 years and I couldn't be more pleased over his excellent care. Feel very privileged to have someone who is so smart and compassionate as it makes such a difference!

Revisit to check on a lipoma. It was easy.

He doesn't listen or respond to issues. He just laughed and minimized issues. His receptionists list paperwork and can't seem to make appointments. Parking cost money for parking far away involved a lot of walking and they don't have free valet parking. It took me a year to get medication from him for side effects because he kept telling me to take vitamins that made problem worse and that made him laugh.

Dr Pippen saved my life. He ordered just the right "cocktail" of chemotherapy to cure me and not make me sick. Both he and his staff gave me wonderful care and kindness. I will never forget them. The Treatment was back in 1998 and I still remember them with gratitude and awe. I'm still alive at 70, thanks to God and Dr Pippen.

I always felt rushed at my annual appointments as though my questions were not important. I did not feel a connection with Dr. Pippin and I felt my level of care was not comprehensive. I have now switched elsewhere, and after extensive questioning about family history, I am having genetic testing. I also didn't realize other cancer centers provide annual pelvic scans when on Tamoxifen as their standard of care.
