I couldn't be a more pleased patient. Dr. Persing is a highly skilled and highly regarded physician with impeccable bedside manner. As another reviewer noted, he takes time to truly listen and seems to genuinely care. I appreciate his soft-spoken demeanor which I'm sure also appeals to his pediatric patients. I'm thrilled with the results of my surgery. My entire experience, from start to finish, was outstanding. His daughter, also a physician, works with him and is likewise wonderful. My mother's only complaint was that after hearing from everyone that Dr. Persing was the very best there was, the actual surgery (MOHS Reconstructive) was actually performed by two younger understudies. One was his son, so - like I told my Mom - let's assume he had a great mentor. And all preliminary visits, recommendations, subsequent exams, follow-up visits, etc. were done by Dr. Persing himself.
