Excellent experience from start to finish! I was referred to Dr. Pedersen by a couple of friends and was not disappointed. My procedure was a mastopexy and augmentation. From the first consultation Dr. Pedersen and his staff were so kind! They answered all of my questions and were so thorough with information and explaining the procedure and what all it entailed. The procedure itself went so smoothly! Dr. Pedersen was so wonderful and could tell I was nervous! Recovery was so much easier than I expected. My pain post surgery was very mild and I felt great after a couple days! I am honestly so happy with the results and have received many compliments from others as well! 10 out of 10! Considering this procedure or wondering if it is right for you? If you understand that the first couple of weeks are uncomfortable and can do that, then go for it. Everything improves quickly after that. You will not be disappointed as long as Dr. Pedersen is your surgeon. I'm very pleased with my surgeon and and my experience with Dr. Petersen. His entire staff are so kind and helpful. When I found out I had a hernia that needed repair, I figured this would be the perfect time to do both. Now I wish I had done it sooner. After years of cardio excersize and watching my diet, I could get thinner but didn't appreciate it because I STILL had a belly and extra skin. The day after surgery, when I took off my binder, I could not believe how good it looked. I've gone down 2 sizes in my jeans. My self confidence is back. Dr Petersen did an excellent job on this 77 yr old woman. My best feature was my eyes and I hated that they were looking so bad. I am very active and feel much younger than my age, I wanted my eyes to look like I felt. He did that for me. Something he did really impacted me. When I was on the operating table getting put under, he held my hand giving much comfort to someone very nervous about what was about to happen. A small gesture that meant so much. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff and doctor

Being able to get the results I wanted in the same city I live in is MAJOR. I thought I was for sure going to have to go to Miami or Atlanta but a little patience and research, I went with my gut and Dr. Pederson more than delivered. The staff are subject matter experts and they care more about your results and health than you do! I tried to come out of my drains early to flaunt, they educated me so swiftly I was no longer in a rush to show out. They are great, period. I would do it again and again and again. Superior surgeon and staff. - This is a note of sincere appreciation and gratitude to Dr Pederson and his wonderful staff. I am thrilled with my results. Every step of the way of this procedure was perfection with minimal pain and downtime!!! Highly recommend!!

Dr Pedersen and his staff are wonderful to work with. Dr Pedersen takes the time to answer all questions and doesn’t sugar coat possible imperfections in final results. I highly recommend Dr Pederson whether it is for something simple or major cosmetic surgery.

I recently just had an Abdominoplasty and added lipo for my sides. Night and day change! Being in my mid 30's and three children later my body has been through a lot. No amount of time in the gym could fix my stomach. There is no lie denying I was a nervous as it comes but at the end of the day, I needed a change for myself and my children. My procedure was a abdominoplasty with repair diastasis/liposuction. (Tummy tuck & lipo) . I tried to lose weight after having multiple c-section, but due to scar tissue was unable to get rid of my stomach. Amazing experience. Dr Peterson and staff are wonderful. Pain and recovery were less than expected and the results are fantastic! I would highly recommend Dr Peterson not only from my results but from his calm demeanor.

Dr. Pedersen performed breast reduction surgery in July and he did an outstanding job. He and his office staff are amazing and caring and I could not ever ask for more. Ladies don't put this surgery off any longer.

I was very disappointed with my breast reduction surgery on my right breast. I had cancer surgery on my left breast; after surgery, chemo & radiation, it was quite smaller than before. Dr. Pedersen told me that he would get the reduction on right breast as close as possible to the left. The result was not as close as possible. It is larger and doesn't appear lifted at all. Dr. said he can remove more tissue but I don't know that I want to go through more expense when I think the breast could've been made smaller the first time.

I have been a loyal patient for several years and have always referred business and spoke very highly of Dr. Pedersen, however this last visit was unsatisfactory. I called to express my concerns and his clinical assistant was terribly condescending, very unprofessional and highly uneducated in the clinical procedure. I asked for a callback from the doctor to discuss, however she laughed and stated he was unwilling to call to further address my concerns. Both of my surgery’s he did on me were medically necessary and he did a terrible job on me my breast look terrible and my stomach looks awful too so I would not recommend him!!

I love the results from my tummy tuck! My recovery went very well and I was given a lot of information and direction throughout the whole process. I would strongly recommend Dr. Pedersen for anyone interested in getting one done.

I went in on 2/17 for a tummy tuck. He went above and beyond. I couldn't be happier. Dr Pedersen was amazing and the entire staff there is just amazing. I felt so comfortable being there. I can't thank them all enough for everything!!!

Dr. John Pedersen did an AWESOME job on Tummy Tuck. My results are amazing even at 3 weeks Post-Op. Dr. Pedersen knew exactly what my body needed. He is never too busy to answer questions or give advice. I'm so thankful to have had him as my plastic surgeon.

I could not have imagined this whole process ever being as easy and smooth as it was. From the initial consultation to my post-op follow-up appointment. Dr. Pedersen took his time and answered all of my questions and even showed me an example of the new implants I would be getting. The office staff was also very helpful and pleasant at each appointment. Everything was explained in detail down to the exact cost and financing options. I was so nervous about getting this surgery, I could not even sleep days beforehand. I was worried about the kind of pain I would be in and what the final result would actually look like. The day of my surgery, Dr. Pedersen came in and talked with me before surgery. He was so kind and genuine that it did help calm my nerves. Dr. Pederson removed my 20 yr old saline implants and replaced them with the new gummy bear implants. I am so ecstatic and completely overwhelmed about my new breast implants. They are absolutely perfect!! Perfect shape and size and they look so much more natural than before. After my surgery, pain medication was prescribed that I did not even end up needing. I had no bruising, my incisions looked great, well-hidden, and I had very little pain. I would chose to have this surgery every single time over kidney stones. Too easy! If you are on the fence about getting breast implants, do not be afraid. Dr. Pedersen is an amazing surgical artist. You will not regret it. It is life changing. Dr. Pedersen reconstructed my breast after cancer surgery, and I consider myself fortunate to have had him taking care of me. He gave me the best possible outcome!

As a breast cancer survivor I struggled with posting this but I felt it was my obligation to other survivors. I gave Dr. P and 1 because he did not fight for me when my whole reconstruction needed redone. After 1.5 years of fighting with my insurance of course I used a different plastic, the procedure is finally done! I was told it was a mess in there and that the fat grafting that Dr. P did is the reason both my implants were ruptured. My new surgeon had pictures of the fat inside the implants! I could see the slash marks. We have now paid for the same surgery twice and a totally of 12 weeks minimum of recovery time! I would not recommend him for any kind of breast reconstruction or to any one going threw cancer treatment! NOT a lot of bed side manners. I had a mastectomy 6 years ago and was leary about reconstruction. Since it had been 5 years since my mastectomy I was very scared but he explained everything in detail and was very kind and considerate with every surgery I had. Dr. Pedersen was WONDERFUL!!! I had three surgeries in total and very please with my results. He is a great Doctor!!!

I am a breast cancer survivor and My experience was not good just recently I had to have all my reconstruction all redone. My new surgeon actually said it was a mess in my chest and that both implants were ruptured so to the fat grafting done by doctor pederson. I was shown pictures of the implants removed with the fat in them and slashed all through them. I do not recommend him for any kind of breast reconstruction and his bedside manners are very poor.

I would never recommend this pohysician to anyone!! He bedside manners and his work is just simply horrible.

I can not say enough about my experience with Dr. Pedersen! He is professional , attentive , and down to earth ! Plastic surgery can be a scary experience for most of us . He made me feel 100% comfortable throughout the entire process ! He gave me exactly what I asked for ! He is a very skilled and detail oriented plastic surgeon ! He truly gives you top notch results !! He gave me my confidence back ! He is by far the best plastic surgeon in the Akron area !
