Dr. Nguyen has been taking care of my mother-in-law for about a year now. He has been a very caring doctor. He has a calm bedside manner and very thoughtful.

I can't recommend Dr Nguyen enough!! He took the time to listen to my concerns and instead of dismissing them he ran tests and ultimately discovered that I had neuroendcrine cancer that damaged my heart. I dont say this lightly because my previous doctor did just that and ignored my symptoms for years. Even though I now see a cardiologist at MD Anderson I still keep in touch with Dr Nguyen. He is truly a doctor that really cares about his patients. He saved my life and I am forever grateful!

I had been a patient of Dr. John Nguyen's since 2012 due to a total heart block I had and he was the doctor that treated me at the hospital. I ended up with a pacemaker to make a long story short. In May of 2019, I underwent my regular 2 year Stress test and a PET scan. Upon my follow-up I was told my heart was strong and good. In August, I was preparing to have a cervical fusion and my neurosurgeon needed clearance from Dr. Nguyen to perform the surgery. Dr. Nguyen sent the paperwork to my neurosurgeon clearing me for the surgery. Several weeks later, Dr. Nguyen called me back into his office to speak with me. He showed me radiograph films clearly showing something was going on in one of my arteries. I needed a cardio catheterization to see what it was. It turns out there was a blockage and I needed 2 stents placed to open the artery. If not for me needing a clearance for another surgery, this never would have been discovered and a possible heart attack could have occurred.
