A great follow up visit an exceptional physician that has taken care of the whole family including extended family members..He truly has kept all healthy in good times and bad but never faltered in providing the best medical care and knowledge

Dr. Mingey lied and said that in my 9 minute appointment we discussed 5 subjects when we only actually discussed one which caused me too be billed $264 instead of the $120 that it should have been. The first six minutes of that 9 minute appt., Dr Mingey did not even make eye contact or speak to me. He was too busy with his laptop to even deal with me. The office manager was rude and told me she would look into the issue of my erroneous bill, but I had to call back 6 times over the course of 2 months for her to finally tell me that Dr. Mingey stood by that and there was nothing I could do about it except pay it. I tried to get someone else within AHN to listen to me, but I either didn't get a call back at all or was passed on to the next person. Needless to say, I will never go back to Dr. Mingey, Millcreek Family Practice, or to anyone within Allegheny Health Network. Their patients are not important to them and he needs to retire or do his job. A very knowledgeable Doctor that takes his time with each patient. He listens to your concerns and answer the best he can

Dr John Mingey is VERY knowledgeable, intuitive, thorough and kind !

My former P.C.P., whom I believed in, seemed lackadaisical in his approach to explaining symptoms that were starting to alarm me. I switched my P.C.P. to Dr. Mingey. He's possibly the most intelligent and intuitive physician (internist) I've ever had. He's my most trusted Physician M.D./P.C.P. Dr. John Mingey is someone that I absolutely trust with my life. He ordered tests that led a discovery that I had Esophageal cancer. I've since had radiation, chemotherapy plus surgery and are cancer free.

His mannerism was Very caring and he was very thorough in his questions which made me feel confident and relaxed. I did not feel rushed, stupid, or just a name in the system. His office setup made me most happy during my visits. All issues are always addressed and talked through of which Dr Mingey includes me in gaining a comprehension of what is happening and what the solutions might be.
