Dr. John Daymond Mckee III

The worst ever- sat around for almost 2 hours when I had a 9AM appointment - was scheduled for a colonoscopy - had been up all night the night before due to cleansing. No food or water. complained again and move to room in back and told that 2 or 3 patients were ahead of me- got dressed and told the receptionist to cancel my appointment because I had to have water!! A nurse followed me outside and said they would give me an IV to hydrate. Worse part when checking in at 9AM the receptionist told guy standing next to her that his 9AM was there and he needed to get prep and ready. (Don't know if this was Dr. McKee or not since I had not seen him at all) This clinic is like Hearding cattle & care nothing about the patients.

Terrible -

Dr. McKee did an awful job of explaining any recent test results and a bedside manner that no doctor should ever have with a patient. I was very respectful during the visit. when i would ask questions about my health, he would get aggravated. I would not recommend him to anyone. When i ask about the certain test results, smooth muscle test being positive , i ask what that meant. He said that it means it positive without explanation. If i want my GP to call him to explain the results. If this is type of doctor that people taking care of there health problems.

He needs to help my husband but instead he isn't worried about my husband he could careless. The Dr took a oath to help people that's what he should do he just doesn't wanna help we need answers true answers not know running around b.s. or beating around the bush we have a right to know. So I suggest you give us the right answers or else

I want to say the staff here is absolutely amazing. Dr. McKee had been my GI doctor since right after Katrina. The last half dozen visits I have not been pleased with my experience at all. Dr. McKee used to be very attentive, caring, and compassionate towards his patients. Well at least in my case that deemed to be true. For several months I’ve had numerous digestive concerns as I have not been able to eat, spasms in my sides, vomiting up blood, blood in stools, etc. Today I was able to go see Dr. McKee. He didn’t even allow me the opportunity to speak. He rambled on about things that meant absolutely nothing to me nor concerned me.This has been the third time in a row that I have been disregarded or felt disregarded. My concerns were not addressed in anyway. There was absolutely no communication at all. I walked out feeling more confused then anything else. No answers about the pure hell I have been going through.I’m praying it’s not because I’m a Medicaid patient. What I do know is that Dr. McKee needs to take the time to spend with his patients. He needs to listen long enough to know what is going on with each and everyone of them. I know Dr. McKee is a god fearing man. In my eyes - he was by far one of my favorite doctors. I even have his cellphone number that he gave to me encase a emergency were to occur and I needed to contact him. Today however I asked the staff to please transfer all of my paperwork to another GI physician. I do wish the best for Dr. McKee. I pray he will be able and capable of being the phenomenal doctor I had at one time felt very fond of! I want to say the staff here is absolutely amazing. Can't imagine how a doctor could possibly have a more pleasant demeanor. Very cordial, kind caring presence.

Excellent GI doctor! He has done all of my colonoscopies with utmost professionalism. Highly recommend Dr. McKee and his team.

After a routine health screening and having a colonoscopy for the first time, Dr. McKee found a Large mass. I was scared and he was very compassionate and and confident it could be taken care of surgically. Dr. McKee called me into his office several days later to deliver the news I had feared....colon cancer. He was very compassionate and kind and I am so grateful he found the tumor in time. He referred me to a rockstar surgeon and followed my progress along the way. I highly recommend this passionate Gastrointerologist. Dr. McKee came highly recommended from other Dr's and people from the hospital. They said he came from Harvard and that he was always on call for surgeons who needed emergency support. He was really patient and helped me understand a condition I've had for over 30 years. Instead of surgery, he recommended increased fiber, fluids, and exercise. I feel better than I have since I was a teenager.

Great Doc!!

After 2 years of back and forth visits I have watched as my wife has dropped from 140 to 99 pounds. The last visit was a basic I really don’t know what to do and go somewhere else. Very frustrating

Very thorough. Listens to your issues and gives a solution.

Went to see Dr McKee about treatment options for my lymphocytic colitis, which I have had since 2013. He was an hour late for the appt, when he finally showed up he barely looked at me, hardly listened to me, and his suggested course of treatment? Yoga. Yes, yoga. For my diagnosed, documented, chronic lifelong disease, he wanted me to try yoga. That was a waste of my time, as well as a waste of the 30$ copay. Go see ANYONE but this fruit loop. He is an embarrassment to his profession.

Dr McKey and his medical assistants are very good but the administrative staff seems a bit below par. In 6 months, I have had 3 scheduling mishaps and a billing problem.

Dr. McKee is simply incomparable in his level of caring and expertise. He is someone who takes the time to listen to your story and tailor your treatment accordingly. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Dr. McKee recently preformed a procedure on my 84 y/o mother to remove a stone from liver bile duct. He thoroughly explained the procedure and told me of the possible adverse consequences. He completed the procedure without problems and opted not to remove a pancreatic stone because of it's location and fact it had been asymptotic. I appreciated that. He was polite, personable and easy to talk to.
