He had poor bedside manners. He rushed the appointment. And, it took another Neurologist’s EEG to diagnose my Epilepsy because he was unable to make the diagnosis

Mcgarry has been treating mw for chronic migraine for the last few years. Not aware of other good nearby nuerologist due to living in rural area. However fed up. Askes general questions, doesn't bother with asking about the actual migraines, how jedication is affecting them, poo-poos any related already diagnosed conditions related to the migraines, also had the gall to try to take me of medication for diagnosed conditions being treated by other specialists. Was recently placed on a special injection to treat migraines since the previous caused problematic side effects. Was scolded for having concerns of a migraine preventative medication that causes a different form of migraines. Bad bedside manners, doesn't listen to patient, and very difficult to understand.

I could not understand most of what he was saying and asking. He called me a lair, that all the last 32 years of my medical history was nonsense. As I understood him to say, the last four tympanoplaste, 7 mastoidectomys, and three brain surgeries were faked or never happened but he never looked in my ear or felt of my skull.

Dr. McGarry was the first doctor to finally treat my migraine and I am grateful for that. However I have a neuromuscular autoimmune disorder which he overlooked. I was diagnosed several years later by another neurologist. His bedside manor leaves a lot to be desired.
