Dr McAtee is awesome! He is very thorough.....spends a lot of time with each patient and stays as long as it takes. He’s very knowledgeable and seems to really care about his patients.

This man has saved my husband's life more than once since he's been his care provider. Very good doctor and puts his patients and their needs ahead of even himself it seems at times. Been under his care since 2013..

TERRIBLE! THE WORST DR. EVER! THEY DON'T MAKE AN APPT. THEY CALL YOU AND TELL YOU TO COME. WE WAITED 2 1/2 HOURS AND THERE WAS STILL 1 PATIENT BEFORE MY HUSBAND. MY HUSBAND IS 89 YRS OLD. THIS WAS OUR 1ST VISIT. OFFICE STAFF WERE YOUNG AND LAUGHING. THIS DR.IS A JOKE! THE DR. TREATS THIS BUSINESS AS A HOBBY....NOT A PROFESSION. I THOUGHT IT WAS WEIRD THEY DIDN'T MAKE APPOINTMENTS. THOUGHT MAYBE IT WAS DUE TO COVID AND THEY WERE BEING CAUTIOUS. NOT SO! LADY BEFORE US LEFT AND WAS REALLY MAD ALSO. ANY OTHER DR. BUT THIS ONE IS YOUR BEST BET. TRUST ME. WE GOT A CALL AND LEFT OUR HOUSE AT 11:30 AM. WE LEFT THE DR.'S OFFICE AT 2:40 PM AND NEVER SAW THE DR. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME! NOT WORTHY AT 1 STAR...BUT HAD TO PUT THAT IN.

Fine doctor. The wait is worth it. He is very caring

My son, myself, and grandson have used Dr McAtee. He takes 35-45 minuets with each patient. Very concerned for giving good care in all aspects of patience’s life. Wish we had more doctors like him.

I am a Snowbird from Iowa. On the way down for our two month stay in Orange Beach I developed a severe cold. I waited one week before I went to Urgent Care. Dr McAtee was on call and treated me. He is amazing. My word for him is unique. I have never seen a doctor like him before. He was actually taking calls from patients as he was seeing me. He put me on a program that put me on the road to recovery very quickly. He also gave me his phone number to call him in a few days to see how I was doing. How many doctors do that now a days? I wish I could take him back to Iowa with me. We come to Orange Beach every year for the winter and now I will rest easy knowing that Dr. McAtee is here.

He saved my life I love this man best doctor in the world I drive four hours to see him everyone at his office cares Nicole gets 5 stars as well

He is the most amazing doctor I have ever been to. I am from Arkansas and am experiencing some health issues. I am considering making an appointment with him and coming back to Alabama!! This man is not only a genius but caring, fun loving and knows how to do his job well. The people who are taken care of by him are very lucky!! Thanks so much for the excellent care??

We brought our son to see him on vacation to Gulf Shores at the urgent care. He was the most compassionate doctor I think we’ve ever seen. He was thorough and really took his time listening to us and making sure our 4 year old son felt comfortable. He’s truly an exception today’s perception of doctors. I wish we had him at home, he’d be our new PCC no question.

He was the most amazing doctor I've ever met!! I'm quite sure he saved my life and a ton of others before and after me!!! I was impatient at first to begin with but then I realized he was busy saving other people's lives. Not just mine. I'm sorry for the people that didn't have the patience to wait. Especially if they lost a loved one. He's a miracle worker. And every pharmacist or doctor I encountered while I was seeing him reminded me. He's one of of kind. And I thank god I went back for my second appointment!! He saved my life!!!

Careful and thorough. Explained everything. Took his time on my sutures and did a great job. Follow up is excellent.

Amazing doctor. My fiancé and I came in with the flu and he gave us the bana package and spent as long as it took to make sure we understood everything. Truly an amazing doctor.

Dr. McAtee , is a excellent physician I know him from when I use to work at SBRMC. He is a joker that's what I like about him.

Dr McAtee was my assigned pulmonary specialist when I suffered left lung injuries. I thank God everyday that I had the good fortune to have him on my team. There can't be a finer doctor in his field. He has the knowledge, skill, experience and compassion which all pulled me thru a very trying time in my life. I looked forward to his daily checkups and his corny jokes which lifted my spirit and made me forget about the pain I was in. God bless you, Dr. "Mac". Thank you for all you do.

Phenomenal and thorough Doctor!

Dr. McAtee shows a genuine concern for his patients. I have experienced this with taking my daughters to the Urgent Care facility as well as working in the same hospital he rounds in. He is knowledgeable, proactive, and kind.

After waiting for over two hours, and still not seeing him, we concluded he is not the doctor for us.

I was seen by this magnificent Doctor on 12/25/2016, with extremely congested lungs,severe cough and other wise terrible condition. He prescribed the medications I so badly needed,as I was 1000 miles from home. I sincerely wish the Ava, Mo. area had a Doctor of this caliber. Dr. McAtee this old boy thanks you from the bottom of my heart. You truly are a great man. Willard(preatcher} Rowe

He is my hero since he has saved my life more that once. Found my problem when two other doctors could not. He was also my mother's doctor and also got her well when she had little hope of making it out of hospital. She lives another 13 years. He spends as long as it takes to make sure he has covered everything. Love DR, McAtee.
