Very attentive and gives choices that we could agree on

The staff is very friendly. Dr Mcardle is one of the nicest Doctors I’ve ever had an appointment with. It’s great walking away from an appointment understanding everything. Too bad their not PCP!

I hadn’t seen Dr. McArdle for a couple of years and he was able to give me the time I needed for all of my questions and concerned without making me feel rushed. Very knowledgeable and wonderful bedside manner.

Dr. McArdle was top-notch on my last visit. He took his time answering all my questions. He addressed all concerns. He was thorough and professional as we navigated through the CT scans. In my humble opinion, an outstanding doctor. Additionally, the staff was quick, precise and pleasant.

Visited Dr McArdle based on reviews I had read. They did not disappoint. Dr McArdle, and tech associate assistant Wanda, were very personable, but most importantly professional. While happy my results all shown to be normal, if return required would do so without hesitation.

I agree with all the great reviews and like Judith Manza said, none of them are exaggerating in the least. I'm 66 years old and u know a great Dr when I meet one. And that is Dr. McArdle. I hope he never leaves this practice unless it is to move closer to me. I drove 45 minutes to see him before I moved this past August, and now it's only 30 minutes and that is fantastic. But I'd drive an hour if I had to. Always explains, always fully up to date on what is going on with you, answers messages immediately, knows his stuff, cares about us patients. The BEST. The end.

This was a really good visit. I was taken in almost immediately and waited very little time in the office. Dr. McArdle was pleasant and cordial, and I had the impression that he was listening very carefully to the information I gave him. He made a few very good recommendations regarding treatment and medication, and he treated me with the respect that made me feel like we were operating as a team. I was more than pleased.

Dr. McArdle is efficient, knowledgeable and through. I definitely rate hime a 5.

Dr. McArdle is a wonderful doctor who is genuinely interested in the patient and their health. He listens carefully and presents options for the best possible outcomes. I would highly recommend Dr. McArdle!

Didn’t have a long wait? Dr Mcardle was very thorough and it felt like he was really interested in my issues. Wish more of my doctors were like him.

Nice office, prompt. Listens carefully, and explains everything since I don't always know what questions to ask. Takes his time and never rushes me out of the office. He is personable, patient, and very knowledgeable. Mentions all options, but does not push me into a direction I'm not comfortable with. My asthma is under good control due to his guidance.

Dr McArdle is very thorough in his examination and very pleasant and easy to talk to. He's genuinely concerned about his patients.

Dr. McArdle has been my Pulmonologist for a few years now. I recently saw Dr. McArdle for a chronic respiratory condition. Dr. McArdle is by far the best diagnostic pulmonologist I have seen for my condition! Dr. McArdle listened to my description of current symptoms and thoroughly evaluated me. He then prescribed the appropriate treatment. Dr. McArdle has always treated me skillfully while displaying a great bedside manner! I highly recommend Dr. McArdle to anyone in need of a top-tier pulmonologist!

Dr Mcardle is an excellent physician with a very good bedside manor. His exam is thorough. He asks questions and listens attentively. He considers options for care and discusses them with the patient. I highly recommend Dr Mcardle as a Pulmonologist.

This was my initial visit with Dr. Mc Ardle. Although I had dropped off my medical record including Chest X-rays and CT films late the day before, it was evident that Dr. McArdle had very thoroughly reviewed my records allowing him to ask very pertinent open ended questions regarding my health issues, drilling down getting valuable information that he needed. Overall, I found Dr Mc Ardle to be highly intelligent, as well as compassionate, humble and personable. His demeanor was warm, kind, welcoming, respectful and encouraging. Instead of using a computer as is the norm these days, he listened closely, maintaining eye contact making me comfortable, ‘like having a regular conversation.’ Closing the visit, Dr. Ardle showed me how to use an inhaler and had me repeat the demonstration to insure I could do it correctly. He reviewed the innovative treatment plan, readily answered all my questions, and offered professional advise. Dr. John R. Mc Ardle, is an exceptional Pulmonalogist with moral character who went into medicine for the right reason. He stands out in a crowd amongst his Physician Colleagues! I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. McArdle years ago as he was involved in some visits with my mother. Yesterday was my first personal visit with him as his patient, he took the time to listen to me to ask questions and put together a great treatment plan he definitely did not rush , And was very personable. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. McArdle is an exceptional, attentive caring doctor. He is easy to speak with. He explains everything clearly and remembers my medical history. I would recommend him for anyone looking for a pulmonary critical care doctor. The medical staff is also wonderful and helpful.

Went in with some concerns. He took the time to address all, explain all possibilities, symptoms etc. He then took the time to explain the next steps and any responsibilities on my part. He is very prompt with updates as well. You are in good hands!

I had to see 4 doctors the past few weeks. They were all fine but Dr. McArdle was the only one that treated me like a person.

Dr. McArdle is one of the most responsive and thorough physicians I have ever had. He contacts me as soon as he receives test results- once on Christmas eve and once while he was out of the country on vacation. He takes time to answer questions and I never feel rushed during visits. The office and office staff is pleasant, the phone is answered (by a person!) within seconds, not minutes. I have been seeing Dr. McArdle for three years now each visit has been pleasant he answers all my questions and has been helpful with my condition..

He has been my doctor for many years! Under his care my lung issues have been controlled and I have not been hospitalized for pulmonary issues. Prior to this I spent at least one admission to ICU every year in Florida while under the care of another pulmonologist before I moved back to Connecticut. He spends time with me and reassures me my medical needs are being resolved. In addition, I normally never have more than 5-7 minute wait after I check in which is refreshing.

We have seen him twice in annual maintenance checkups. Both times there has been a reasonable wait time in the reception area and we're promptly called. Dr McArdle is a fantastic doctor. I have been going to him for many years for a chronic cough related to bronchitis. He’s the only doctor that has figured out how to treat my cough aggressively. . The staff is professional and welcoming. They make you feel like they know you. Dr McArdle listened and helped me with getting off my Steroid inhaler. The office feels very safe with all Covid precautions in place.
