John N Korger

Staff is horrible. Answering service worse. Cannot get med refills on a timely basis.

I've seen Dr. Korger for almost 20 years and have always been pleased with his care, recommendations and concern for me as his patient. He listens and is respectful of my concerns and experiences. Twice I needed to change my psychiatrist due to insurance but returned to Dr. Korger as soon as I could. My clinical depression and anxiety is treated with prescription medication but he also supports an integrative approach that includes non-prescription supplements/alternatives/health and wellness. Additionally, I am a therapist in the community, so I am very familiar with many psychiatrists in the area and Dr. Korger remains one of my top recommendations.

There is nothing extraneous with him; no idle chit-chat. It’s all “meat & potatoes”. He packs so much into each of my sessions. I feel like I won the lottery by being able to receive therapy thru him. And unlike other therapists that want to dole out more pills, he slowly & methodically weans me off the pills to c what are we working with- as drugs have so many side effects. I’m not a huggy type of person by ANY means. Yet after our 1st session I asked him if it would be ok to give him a hug. (he said yes). Also, I have a terrible sense of direction but a fear of highway driving. He asked the women at the front desk to write out directions for back roads to get me home. They did so, & are super kind & compassionate as well. I feel very blessed that I am able to see him. NOT intimidating at all- so very kind.

I've had dr.korger since 3 years old. He is the best. I recommend him over anyone

I have been seeing Dr. K on and off for over 10 years and he’s just the best. Doesn’t judge you, listens to you and actually cares about your well being

Dr. Korger has been my doctor for 14 years and he is nothing short of fantastic. He is a wonderful person and doctor. He is very intelligent and down to earth. Although appointments come with a wait, it is well worth it. Throughout my years with Psychiatric consultants I have always loved interacting with the front desk staff with the exception of Sandy. She speaks to you as if you are below her and is quick to assume. Every time she answers the phone she is cold and has a snarky comment.

I've been very happy with seeing Dr. Korger for the past few months. He is easy to talk to and keeps track of your health as you use a new medication.

I've been seeing Dr. Korger for 4 years and he is the BEST. His office is super welcoming and not like the typical sterile therapy office you see in the movies. The office is close to the highway so its easy to find but there are huge windows and trees all around so it's not like you're looking at the highway during your appointment. Dr. John Korger has been such a great help to our young adult daughter. He is caring, compassionate, listens well, explains medications, etc. He has helped her better than anyone else she went to. He was great at finding a medication that has helped her. Our daughter, my husband, and I highly recommend him. Often the office waiting for her appointment is 30 minutes or so, but it has been a pleasant wait and worth the time to see Dr. Korger.

I've seen Dr. Korger for ~10 years. Dr. Korger is engaging and thoughtful, he took my views into consideration and is well versed in his craft. He takes time with his treatments and makes sure they are properly enacted. He shows me respect, while teaching me I can't always get what I want. He's patient ( even when I called him Dr. Quarter ) He helped me through loss and taught me countless lessons. Without Dr. Korger I wouldn't be half the man I am today, he is my rolemodel, mentor, and friend.

While the doctor is pleasant and knowledgeable, I am repeatedly subject to sitting in the waiting room 30 minutes or more beyond my appointment time and I'm sick of it!

I have seen dr. Korger myself as a child. He doesn't do shock therapy, that was an absolute lie. He gives you medicine but everyone is different and have different reactions. He listens well and is kind.

Dr. Korger is one of the best in his field. Any medications Dr. Korger prescribes, he does it in small doses.

If U want your kids even worst as adults keep seeing him. They will end up with major health problems because all the drugs oh ya and shock therapy. And the mental illness way worst.
