Dr Kona is the best! I highly recommend him!

I found Dr. Kona to be vague and disinterested in my injury and answering any questions. It was obvious he had not looked at my chart. He misheard me on several occasions but kept on with rhetoric. This did not just happen on one visit but over the course of three as I was referred to him by my primary physician. If you want a physician who actually cares and listens to their patients, go elsewhere.

Dr. John Kona is a very High Caliber Orthopedic Surgeon. He is Straight forward in addressing my Orthopedic needs and KNOWS what to do to Repair tedious broken bones. If that can be done with a Positive outcome. He does have a Pleasant bedside manner to his patients. He is easy to talk to about a concern I have. And his Staff is on Top of all the processes of getting me in to see Dr. John Kona as scheduled, sometimes earlier than scheduled. This Surgeon and his Staff I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Dr. Kona has taken care of many of my orthopedic needs. He takes time to answer all your questions and has a very friendly demeanor.

Would go back to this doctor. Front office reception/Appt Staff is very young and seem to need more inservice in customer service. Although it is no reflection on the doctor, the patient drop off area is a high traffic area in a busy parking lot. Would increase patient safety and ease of transport to have a designated drop off area to the side or rear of parking lot where patients would be at less risk
