Dr. John Kevin Koch

Koch is definitely not a good surgeon, he did did surgery on my sister in 2020 she ended up in sepsis shock, she is still in a hospital recovering and having surgeries to fix his screw up

Dr. Koch was friendly, made me feel quite at ease and took care of my issue 123. I would highly recommend Dr.Koch and his staff.

⭐⭐ADDRESS WRONG ON GOOGLE MAPS ITS GRAND CENTRAL "MALL" NOT AVENUE ⭐⭐Staff had wrong first name on my paperwork and when i told them on phone they did not change it. Dr. Koch is an amazing doctor. He had the best bedside manners& is just very kind. He also took very good care of My Momma when she was I'll. 5 Star to you!

He did a out patient for me and sent me home which got me a nasty infection the very next day, then I spent a week in the hospital hooked to an IV. But he does have good bedside maners.

I would not recommend, not so much for Dr. Koch's professionalism or services but simply because my appointment was not needed however I was still charged. I was in an accident in which he was consulted for while I was in the hospital. He is a general surgeon, however I did not end up having surgery therefore there was nothing to follow up on. Under the circumstances that evolved I was not aware of what all physicians were consulted nor did I realize what each physician was consulted for. Upon my discharge a follow up appointment was made by Dr. Koch, when they called to remind me they said it is a follow up for the Hospital Visit. Once I got to the appoint it lasted approximately 5 min. long enough for Dr. Koch to say "I'm not sure what the consult is for, as I am a general surgeon and surgery was not needed, I would have assumed you would have a neuro follow up". Therefore to my surprise, there was no reason for me to be there. I had received two bill from this office - one of which was for the consultation services provided in the hospital (which I am more than happy to pay as they were not sure of the extent of my injuries). The other charge was for the "follow up" which was not needed. So yes it is only $35.00 copay that is due, however that is not the point, follow-ups should not be scheduled if not necessary. This to me is just another way for an office to generate revenue on the patients expense. After talking to the office manager she was not willing to remove this charge she stated "it would be a process to refund the insurance what she charge them and they covered". It was not worth the argument at that point. So make sure if you are following up it is necessary and not a waste of time and money. Very professional and great surgeon.

The office of Dr.Koch and the nurses staff was very friendly and treated me like a person not just another patient!

Dr. Koch is amazing! I highly recommend him! He has been understanding and very helpful! His bed side manners are amazing! Very kind and nice!

i think he is great....have been to him for past 10 years, intelligent, great bed side manner....I will keep him as long as can.

Dr Koch is a very good surgeon. He has very good bedside manner and very empathic. I would highly recommend him for general surgery.
