Fantastic doctor! Sad to hear he has retired. I wish him well.

Terrible bedside manner and dismissive without listening at all.

Dr. Kniaz has been my gastroenterologist since 2003. He has always been knowledgeable, kind, patient and accurate with his advise and diagnosis. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Terrible doctor!!!!!

Worst. PERSON. Ever. First time I saw him he walked in the room, didn’t look at me, told his nurse what test to order, then told me to come back in two weeks. When I tried to ask questions, his nurse said exactly this, “you didn’t hear? He wants to see you in two weeks.” The staff is very rude. I tried to schedule a follow up and waited in line where the sign said “Kniaz” the lady opened the window and stated she couldn’t help me with that then shut the window. I cry when I leave.

This guy tells me , all I seen was a little/ so tiny hemroid/ even thou I told him I was gushing blood everyday, he said well use the sith bath, etc bs, I knew something was wrong and no way that was all that was causing my gushing blood, by the way he is rude! He doesn’t listen to what u got to say, so anyways I knew something was wrong so I ended up finding another gi doctor and told him, so he said let’s do another one/today and he found 3 huge hemroids!! Dr kniaz 0star!! Don’t listen to him

Started good nice guy but if you work afternoons he's not the guy for you I saw him in morning and after he did my scop they new from beginning I can't do afternoon appointments so I've never got a fallow up appointment to go over results.Don't trust these people they also take you out of network and lie about it on till it's too late. First of all the office is very dirty and when I went to check in I waited for someone to help me for 15 mins and they finally came to the window talking with food in her mouth, when I got into the room the nurse took my vitals ask why I was here and left the room then another nurse came in and I ask to speak to the nurse who was just here and she said oh she isn't a nurse she is a medical assistant then why did she say she was a nurse? they were rude. The doctor was horrible and rude. Bad place

This dr saw my mom at St. Margaret Hospital, Dyer, IN. He had involment in an order for her peg tube for gastric feeding. one day after the surgery, I witnessed a massive bleed from the gastric tube site. He and/or his selected gastro surgical dr. performed a botched surgery. My mom lost much blood that she needed a blood transfusion. I do not recall every seeing him again after the surgery . I see him as a very negligent doctor who pose a risk to patients in need of gastric neutrician.

My mother saw this Dr. Kniaz 2 months ago she has very bad constipation he told her to eat more fiber and drink more water, well he doesn't know what the heck he is talking about she ended up very sick I took her to a Dr Kumar who was wonderful found her problem and she is doing great, maybe this Dr Kniaz guy needs to retire because he has no clue what he is talking about and he is very sarcastic when I questioned him about my mother. Your front people need a class on being polite and nurses.

Went in for a major issue from an ultrasound, he completely ignored it and scheduled a scope down my throat. When I woke up from anasthesia, room full of people (intern nurses?) it was a big joke, "Oh, he's awake, ha ha ha!" So after that, I expected a follow up re: results of that procedure and to address the primary issue for which my PCP sent me to a Gastro, nada. Not a word. I don't know what else to say. Horrible.

First visit 1 month ago the lady that answered the phone put me on hold 5 times very rude she told me they were short handed then i ask for an appt they put me in with a Dr Kniaz who I did't ask for I ask for Dr Nallapareddy they said he was booked I saw this Doctor and what a rude Ingnornant person he was. The staff was rude, nursing was rude and I wanted to ask a question about the colonoscopy they told me to go talk to the scheduler she had no clue what she was doing either I cx everything.

Terrible Doctor. When I woke up from my colonoscopy he said "it's just IBS. Eat more fiber." Then he walked out. After he left, I told the nurse that eating more fiber upsets my stomach, so she told me I shouldn't. He didn't even suggest further testing or meds and instead told me to take Benefiber which did nothing. I could tell he didn't take me seriously. I had to suffer for another two years until I switched to a doctor that actually took my concerns seriously.

Dr. Kniaz will take whatever time his patient requires to answer all questions and really cares about his patients. He's on his 3rd generation of patients in my family.

He is the worst doctor i have ever seen I would not have a dead dog see him. The office staff is rude and the medical asisstants are dumb they ask me questions then a nurse ask me the same and said nothing was charted from the asisstant . The office is a filthy place, no tv for my son to warch while i was being seem by this rude doctor.. I would never recommend any of these doctors to anyone.

Worst doctor ever! I had h pylori and I went to see him in July and he kept sending me away saying I was just probably stressed or it was my diet.I got so sick and ended up loosing 30lbs.I finally demanded a endoscopy and they saw h pylori,gastritis and gerd! I was sick for 6 months before he would take me serious!I now have a lump on my right side and I've asked him to check it out and he completely ignored me! Will never step a foot in his office again! Also plan on waiting 2 hours to be seen!
