Dr. John William Kitchens

I had a very positive experience here and with Dr Kitchens. Will have follow up treatments, hopefully to solve the problem.

He’s very thorough, caring and professional. I totally trust what he tells me regarding my macular degeneration. I’ve been going to Dr. Kitchens for 11 years and wouldn’t consider going anywhere else. He’s the best!!!

It’s Always a Good experience when I visit Dr John Kitchen's with Retina Associates of Ky. Staff, Technicians, Receptionist, all are very Knowledgeable and Professional, and Friendly. I can’t say anything but Good for them. I trust and believe their treatments, and instructions.Dr John Kitchen’s is My Man????

As some one who has surgery with Dr Kitchens , I WOULD highly recomend him for any surgery at Rertina ctr.. AND ONLY HIM, I would also make DAMN sure who ever "SAYS" you need surgery is someone who is going to do your surgery...not someone who no longer does surgery because of age ?? or knowledge.....making the wrong procedure ?? that WHAT surgery needs to be done!!!!

Both my husband and I are patients of Dr. John Kitchens. We wouldn't trust our eyes to anyone else.

Whenever you are dealing with eye issues it can be scary. Dr. Kitchens was professional but very caring. He explained my problem and laid out a treatment plan. He took his time and answered all of my questions. I appreciate his expertise.

I first came to Dr. Kitchens because of my Dr. having difficulties with my prescription. Dr Kitchens told me I had scarring which may or may not be related to one of my many heart medications. I saw him for rechecks periodically. I woke up one morning with no vision in my left eye. That is how I started on my journey, From hemorrhage, to infection, to surgery, to removal my cataract. Dr. Kitchens successfully operated on my eye placing a scleral buckle on the eye to prevent further retinal detachment. I have excellent vision. Due to other eye issues I have, he recommended seeing other specialists. Every eye doctor I met with said Dr. Kitchens is one of the best retinal surgeons. I agree. My case was complicated due to a previous retinal detachment. He was patient and answered all of my questions.
