Dr. John M Kisala

Dr sent me to Cascade after exam and ultrasound revealed a dense 1 cm lump in armpit. Dr Kisala was first appt open. While standing he briefly pressed where I indicated lump was & said he felt nothing. So I asked “if I could I lay down on my side, find the lump and have him try again?” He seemed reticent but agreed. I showed him how & where to find it but again said he felt no lump. He admitted to not seeing imaging but said it didn’t matter & was sending note back he found nothing. Confused!

Dr Kisala refused to give my son an appendectomy stating that in his opinion the CT scan did not show appendicitis. 4 days later Seattle Childrens used the same CT scan to diagnosis the ruptured appendix and could see the location of pus pockets on CT scan that apparently Dr Kisala did not see.
