A great boost to my self esteem and confidence! **UPDATE** I am in Columbia, South America currently and as of this writing its been almost 2 1/2 years since the reconstructive surgery. i am strolling around the streets of Cartagena walking normally as if the Archilles tendon ruture never happened. But wearing orthopedic shoes is a must for me. And during certain times, if i stand-up for an extended period of time on a hard surface with my bare feet without a cushoning heel support in my shoe or slippers, i still will feel some discomfort in my heel, but other than that it was worth the hassle going through surgery. Long healing process for me being 62 years old. It took at least 2 years until i really the right foot started feeling somewhat "normal" again. Deciding to get surgery was a serious decision and never to be taken lightly, but if you are willing to set aside a year or so of an arduous healing process, you definately wont regret it. Dr ketz did my surgery after having my leg caught in a grain convyer he did get me some relief but the injury was just so bad

Dr. Ketz is a wonderful doctor. He listens and he cares about his patients. He his a wonderful surgeon, he did my right foot and ankle.

He fixed my chronic ruptured Achilles tendon doing tendon transfer. It amazing the difference I feel, my foot no longer slapping down like being flat-foot. Hated that feeling but now its a thing of the past thanks to Dr. Ketz and his willingness to do this life-changing surgery. Obviously increased my mental well being and confidence. He always listened to me, taking his time. He really is world-class doctor who has what it takes to do specialized foot &ankle surgery that most doctors don't have the skill-level for. Thanks to Dr. Ketz I am not longer at a disadvantage and can get back to being active again!

Competed my surgery very nice work and beyond that Dr Ketz him self is super down to earth and extremely cool

Dr. Ketz knew exactly what my condition was and what needed to be done. He gave me confidence that it would be successful, as long as I did followup PT, which I did. A visit for a similar problem on the other foot also went well and he gave me ways to try to avoid surgery. I never felt rushed. He came into the exam room having viewed my X-Rays and thus was already familiar with my case.
