He was not my primary doctor but rather an "emergency doc" who treated UTI, sinus infections etc. He threw in my face that he found out I had been to rehab a decade earlier. He refused to tell me who told him. What a weird unprofessional exchange.

In my opinion it was very easy to misunderstand Dr Kavlich, yes it is true at times he could come across as abrasive and sometimes short but he truly did care about his patients and I thought he was an excellent doctor.

Dr. Kalvich is excellent, brilliant doctor. Was always professional and actually helped patients unlike mumbo jumbo that the corporatist UH & CC doc-bots provide. He did not fall in line with the monopoly that is health care. An great doctor and kind person. He deserved better. The medical board needs to go after the real quacks that are incompetent and greedy. Stay strong Doc. Dr. Kalvich is excellent, brilliant doctor. The city of Berea finally condemned that eyesore of a building. I wonder if it was the storing of horded auction items in the drop tile ceiling, or maybe the use of used exam table paper to clean surfaces? Was it him constantly referring to city officials as clowns and stooges? Whatever the reason, kudos Berea!

This doctor is kind and has been very professional with me . Reminds me of an old time country doctor . The waiting room has some style but your not there for anything else but the doctor and I like him a lot ! Very smart man .

Most honest doctor I know,tells you the truth! He Has been educated to help people. And does not prescribe garbage medication just to make a buck. Dr Kavlich is very smart. There should be more doctors like him. I feel he has saved my life more than ounce.????

Dr. Kavlich is an awesome Dr. he is very knowledgeable and helpful! Shirley is the best nurse and is great as well!

My husband Gary and I have been going to Dr. Kavlich for over 10 years now. We are both retired and feel very comfortable with him. He has helped us with every single one of our health concerns and correctly diagnosed everything. We trust him completely and would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a kind, caring, doctor.

I really like Going to Dr. Kavlich. He and his staff are very personable, professional and courteous. I'm seeing all these negative reviews and it kind of upsets me but everyone has their own opinions about everything I guess! In my opinion Doctor Kavlich is an amazing doctor, in fact he saved my life amongst many others. I don't know where I'd be with my life if it wasn't for him. Yes he sells candles and other items but it's his office and he can do whatever the heck he wants. He has a hobby but who doesn't for real! And if he wasn't a good doctor he wouldn't still be a licensed Doctor so he's obviously doing something right! Also many doctors offices are booked for appointments but with Doctor Kavlich you can call the day before you need to be seen and he will get you in or you can do walk in appointments and be seen that way. I haven't had ONE SINGLE bad experience with Doctor Kavlich or any of the nurses and I've been going to him for a few years now! I will never have anything bad to say about him, he's a good doctor to me and helps me every time I go in for my appointments. He shouldn't be judged because of the other items he chooses to sell out of his office, that doesn't make him a bad doctor. Not all doctors offices are the same. I was just in there today and didn't have a set appointment so I did a walk in and they were pretty busy and I still got seen within 20-30 minutes after arriving. They've been good to me! Horrible doctor with horrendous bedside manner. Waiting room looks like a cluttered, dusty, grungy thrift store although that's insulting to thrift stores because they are honestly cleaner and more organized! He sells the most random crap too. Who wants to buy craft projects from a doctor's office? His billing department is equally horrible as they don't bill insurance correctly than expect you to pay for their mistakes! He actually sues patients for unpaid balances after double billing (collecting from insurance company and patients too). I have no idea how this guy still has a license to practice medicine!!!! I was charged out of pocket $100 every visit as well as my insurance being billed because I was told that my insurance didn't cover a part of my visit. Went in on a Fri morning. Staff unable to find forms. Waited 15 - 20 minutes and I was only patient in office. Dr. Kavlich was pleasant and I got Rx refills, but he made errors writing them and drugstore was unable to fill. THE OFFICE PHONE WASN'T ANSWERED ALL DAY despite many calls from druggist and me for corrections, so no meds over weekend and I had to go back in person Monday to ask for new Rx's written correctly. Also, office decor is bizarrely random and overdone, giving it a weird vibe.

Dr. and staff was very rude, I had him down as my PCP on my insurance for the last 1 1/2 years, (my company changes every year or so and I have to find a new Dr. in the new network) and wanting to talk with him first before deciding if I want him as my care provider, he would not even talk to me as a Wellness visit because there was no co-pay. Does not seems like a person I want looking out for my physical wellbeing if he cannot take 5 minutes for a 1st meet and greet.

dont do their job correctly, "doctor" kavlich is very creepy. their whole office is odd and creepy. been waiting a week for a phone call i was supposed to get the day after, called them everyday during their business hours and no one answered. finally got an answer today and she said she'd call me back in 20 minutes because the paper was in the doctors office, too lazy to go get it? waited 4 HOURS and no call, called them and she said she'd call me later today, seriously? get your lazy ass up and walk 20 feet and pick up an envelope. done with these people. The customer service is terrible. I went in for a wellness visit as required for work and it took about an hour and a half before I even saw the doctor. Additionally I was not asked much about my health. I feel badly for my insurance for having to pay for this service. If something is/was wrong with me outside of my blood pressure there's no way he could have noticed. Not to mention the office is a zoo of knick knacks and disarray. Been going to Dr Kavlich for over fifteen years. He's always available and takes the time to get at the root of any problem I might have.

You know, Dr. Kavlich has a hobby. His hobby is collecting interesting things. Just because they are oddities and they may not be YOUR interests, and he CHOOSES to display his interesting possessions in his office does NOT take away from the fact that he is an amazing Dr. Those of you who are complaining have probably found something to complain about your whole lives and have made mean and cruel judgments on people that try to help you. What a fool that makes you look like. Take a look at your glass house before you start casting stones at someone else's. I have a health issue and have had it for awhile, seen many other doctors. Dr.Kavlich(My primary care physician) took the time with me, determined what was wrong. Other doctors had no clue, nor did they care to find out. Nonetheless, Dr. Kavlich told me that we would keep going until the issue is fixed. He even takes the time to call me and follow up. How many Dr's do that? Went for a "wellness exam" as required by my insurance company. He didn't ask me a single question about how I was feeling. Did some blood tests and then his front desk called saying that there were somethings that were wrong with me based on the blood tests. They wouldn't say what but told me that it was important for me to make an appointment to see him. I wouldn't have gone if I had known that all he wanted to do was to sell me some dietary supplements. Again, never asked a single question about my health. Just straight away handed me some supplements (as if they were samples). He walked me to the checkout where the secretary informed me that I owed $64 for the supplements (I just checked on amazon and the same supplements cost $40...). These are just a few problems. His staff are incompetent as well... one of them had to poke me in four different places just to get a blood sample. Office smells like moth balls. TERRIBLE! after not having medical coverage for a number of years, I had several issues I wanted to address. He acted like he could care less. Sells dusty supplements and candles out of the office. I told him of my intense family cardiac history and that I was told I had high cholesterol at an young age.I also had questions due to irregular menstual cycles. They had me fast, drew labs, I was told my hormones were fine and when I asked about my cholesterol, I was told that was not checked! On subsequent visits, (rushed, of course) he never once inquired about my cholesterol, not once. I had some skin issues, random hives, a sunburn reaction, and a contact dermatitis and was handed a manilla envelope of steroids, a prescription for skin cream, and rushed out, not possibility of seeing a dermatologist was even discussed. He even had an intern there who seemed genuinely interested and wanted to learn, still he rushed me out. I did not think too much at first as I had not been to a Dr. in a number of years, but, it don't take a genius to know when someone simply does not care. Just terrible. I started going there a few years ago for my self and since then I now take my whole family there, my husband and both of my teen children,They had been going to the same peds office since they were born. Dr. Kavlich is wonderful! He listens to you he takes his time in the room, I have never felt like he was trying to rush me or quickly move on to the next room. Im in and out, I have on many occasions been in and out on my 1 hour lunch break and you can get in there on the same day! where can you even get your hair done on the same day? .Shirley.... I love Shirley,Im comfortable talking to her about things I wouldn't normally be comfortable talking to people about{ things can start to go weird medically when approaching 40} I cant say enough about these people,from the window to billing they are all awesome. I have been to Dr. Kavlich Twice now and have had a great experience both times. As a new Patient a year ago i had to fill out the necessary paperwork, but after that there was a minimal wait to see him. He ran a few tests and drew blood, all of which was quick and painless, and made sure i had no additional questions. I was called less than a week later to get the results and he talked to me for at least a half an hour to explain what each one meant and what could be done. He offered me vitamin supplements, and medicinal options, but since i do not like medicines i chose to go with his vitamins. A year later i had the same experience, minus the paperwork, and their office was VERY flexible as i had a car maintenance run long and they shifted things so i could come in later with almost no wait and quick service. At other doctors, in the past, i had long waits, after showing up early, and only had maybe 5 minutes face time with the doctor. Everyone has different tastes, but Dr. Kavlich was quick, efficient, answered any questions, and didn't order any unnecessary test or medicines. That is what i want in a doctor.
