My appointment lasted for less than 3 minutes and ended when he literally said there was nothing he could do and left the room. This was the most massively unhelpful appointment and waste of time and copay I’ve ever had. Side note: From the waiting room I heard his nurse giving someone a cancer diagnosis over the phone and she sounded upbeat and chipper about it.

Dr. Holtze was very friendly regarding my concern and took care of it in the office while his very kind nurse held my hand because she knew I was nervous. had a wonderful experience all around.

Had an appt to do a body scan for any concerning looking spots or moles and also look at my fingernails, which had changed in recent months. He was in and out of the room in less than 5 minutes. I don't feel like he really looked at my body and will be going to another dermatologist for another look. Waste of time. He then said my nails are fine as well. When I asked how you can tell (I wanted this for my own knowledge), he replied in a snarky manner, "How can I tell what kind of socks you're wearing? I just can." Then he turned and walked out. The nurse was nice and then said to me "Basically, he doesn't have any concerns." Well, what if I do?! He didn't take time to converse with me. He doesn't give patients the time or attention they deserve. I'll never step foot in his office again, and no one else should waste their time either. His office was easy to get an appointment with, and I assume it's because no one wants to go back after their 1st appt! BTW, I wasn't wearing socks! lol

I had a great experience in this office from beginning to the end. I had a sebaceous cyst that I had for many years that was bothering me. I made my appointment, they emailed me all the necessary documents, and I sent them back, then checked in when needed. I was there for about an hour in a half, he numbed me up, removed it, and stitched up my wound. He and his nurse was pleasant to talk to during the procedure and made me feel comfortable. I would highly recommend him, he knows his stuff.

I just got back from this doctor. He came in, shook my hand and told me to take my glasses off and started looking at moles. The mole i was concerned about which had irregular borders said looks harmless. Didn’t even go a full body exam or ask question about my worries or my skin history. He was in and out of the room in about 2 mins. I left crying. Horrible experience.

Asked him about mole and skin tag removal & about laser treatment for evening out skin tone. He said all those things were purely cosmetic and told me the way to make myself more attractive was to lose weight. I know I need to drop a few lbs but I wasn't there for a weight loss consultation, I was there for my skin!

Least amount of time i have ever spent with a specialist on an initial visit. He examined moles i was concerned about. He biopsied two moles and prepared to leave.. I had to stop him to ask him to examine my entire body. Felt like he had some place else to be. 1 week later his staff told me that their IT team would not allow them to post lab result to the patient portal. I was told IT team didn't want patients mistakenly thinking they had cancer. IT giving advice on practicing medicine????

I have never ever been to a dermatologist before, so I was giving him a full synopsis on the life of my skin, and right when I start he says "Alright. Can you lay back?" To shut me up. So he cut me off, and I ask him if he kmows why the irritation happened, he responds, "only he knows why." (Pointing up to god) I was requesting probable cause he didnt even give a guess, I was expecting a lifetime relationship, ultimately he didnt perscribe a thing, provided NO INFORMATION! Never go to this guy!!
