I am a runner and needed new orthotics. My current ones worked, but were falling apart. I brought my old ones in to show him what worked for me. They took my foot scans and then I came back three weeks later. They charged me for another visit (less than 5 min) to fit them in my shoe. The orthotics were too long so they had to send them back. Then they wanted to charge me for a third visit but I protested and just took the orthotics. They weren't supportive enough, but they wanted to charge me more to modify them. Grateful for Doctor Hollander. I had a sick toe nail for 20 years. After treatment the nail rejuvenated. Happy with result. Thank you.

Amazing work by Dr Hollander, recently had two ingrown toe nails that seemed really really bad. He managed to fix both if them with little pain! Highly recommend going to him for any and Any foot work, really a good experience

I just wanted to take the time to thank John and his amazing staff for going above and beyond helping me out with my ingrown toenail. I had a bit of a emergency with a badly infected ingrown toenail that seemed to get extremely painful extremely fast. From the moment I called and Jesus answered the phone I knew I was in good hands. Very helpful and friendly, I would highly recommend anyone and everyone needing any type of foot, ankle or toe issues to give them a call. Dr. Hollander took care of an ingrown toenail for me in a mater of minutes! I have anxiety and his friendly and humorous bedside manner made the experience quite enjoyable. He and his staff are professional and the fact that office is adhering to all covid precautions put me at ease; being 6 months pregnant I am in the high risk group. A+ thank you doctor! Dr. Hollander and his team were amazing from scheduling to after care they provided excellent care. I have had ingrown toenails removed twice before and Dr Hollander is gentle, precise and very professional. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an excellent doctor.

We usually do not write reviews. But, we felt we had to write to let our Sonoma community know what a wonderful doctor (Podiatrist) we have right here locally. His name is Doctor John Hollander, and he Great in every way one would want from their doctor. Due to the severe lock down from Covid-19, when my senior husband, (very disabled) developed acute venous leg ulcers, it was very painful for him, and troubling since we had NO experience with open, painful wounds. We tried several doctors, who could not or wouldn’t accept us as new patients (in spite of the urgency). I Googled & was blessed to find Dr. John Hollander, and his wonderful, compassionate staff. They were heavily booked out, (and I now understand why) since this is a magnificent, compassionate, kind office team in caring for patients needs, for both feet and legs! This is a top-notch skilled & accomplished office in dealing with all kinds of Podiatry needs, importantly to us, very experienced & Knowledgeable. The BEST!

When I made my appointment, I mentioned what was wrong and that I was pregnant. Was told my insurance would cover my visit and all was fine. The day of my appointment, I again, mentioned that I was pregnant and also asked if there would be a co-pay. I was told no, that it was covered. After not even 5 minutes in the office the doctor tells me he cannot help me because I'm pregnant, WHICH I MENTIONED SEVERAL TIMES. Then as I'm walking out and already about to get in my car, someone chases after me and says I owe them $108. For what exactly? The doctor couldn't even help me. Barely spent any time with me and wasted my time and money now at this point. Because I didn't have the money to pay it, they allowed me to agree to pay later. I have since then been paying in small increments due to the poor service and communication I was given. They send me several letters a month asking for money when I now owe them only $80. They care more about the money than they do their patients. They are lucky I'm paying them anything at all! I'm pregnant, and have plenty of other hospital bills piling up, paying a doctors office who showed nothing but poor communication is the LEAST of my concerns. You show me poor service and communication, you will get $10 a month. Simple as that. On top of everything else, when the doctor came in, he had an iPad with a webcam on and seemed to be FaceTiming someone who was shadowing him. Which is fine is theory but not ONCE did he ask me if this was okay. He walked in, pointed the camera right at me and never mentioned it. I'm sorry, but isn't that illegal? That's not respecting my privacy whatsoever. They are lucky I am not taking that to court, but if they keep harassing me for payments, I won't hesitate to do so. They got me in right away and everyone was extremely caring and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

I have seen Dr. Hollander for about 4 years now. He diagnosed my problem right away and prescribed a special type of customer orthodic to ease my pain. His staff has always been truly attentive, caring, and eager to help in any way. They truly care. The assistant Jesus is EXCEPTIONALLY sweet, attentive, responsive, and detail oriented. Dr. Hollander is an excellent doctor with matching bedside manner which is rare in western medicine these days. He seems extremely knowledgeable inclusive of issues beyond his scope but is also very cautious. He asks lots of questions, listens carefully and has taken great care of me. He seems to also have an extensive referral network which is very helpful in navigating healthcare as well. The office and doc deserve the highest praise. Dr. Hollander is an amazing doctor. I travel over an hour to see him. He is so considerate of my proximity to his office and has gone above and beyond to make things more convenient for me. He is great with children as I have a 9 year old daughter. He is friendly, caring, and treats patients with respect. His staff is courteous, professional, and attentive. I had severe pain in my feet when I walked for any distance. I lived with this pain for a few years and I finally decided to take the time to go see Dr. Hollander. He and his staff are very friendly and professional. He evaluated my issue and gave me a few home treatments and they treated my feet with the "lazor". Three weeks later I am walking with no pain and I am elated with the results. I would recommend Dr. Hollander to any of my friends or family who have foot pain. I had been looking for someone to take care of my Mom's toenails. She's 93, with fairly severe dementia and very sensitive toes, but those thick, hard nails common in elders. Am surprised how hard it is to find anyone to fill this need. What a wonderful service the Senior Spa pedicure is! Professional, sensitive to elders' individual needs, excellent care and service.
