From the first consultation to all of the follow-ups and most importantly, the lower Blepharoplasty and laser procedures Dr. Holds was kind, compassionate and very professional. Dr. Holds explained everything thoroughly and gave me time to formulate questions and he provided detailed answers (even during the procedure!). I could not be happier at age 64 to have the surgery Dr. Holds did to get rid of the unsightly bags under my eyes. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Dr. He is the one to go to for Ptosis surgery. He did an amazing job on my one eye with ptosis. My eyes look the same now. The surgery was painless and the recovery not bad at all. He is the best and I highly recommend him.

Arrived for surgical appointment only to discover Dr Holds was not going to do the work we discussed in consultation. In consult he gave me a price and I commented it was very high. He then reduced the price and said that I could be charged less for having my work done under local and not using anesthesia or surgical center. He never mentioned reducing work. He added insult by saying you can have this for 3,000 more but I feel you can not afford this. Get it in writing with this guy. Day of surgery is stressful and then this mis-treatment was unprofessional. Also a waste of time. I walked and have made a new appointment with a Dr who discussed my plan. Outlined it in writing and itemized the bill.

I consulted and outlined a surgical plan with Dr Holds only to find when I arrived for my appointed surgery he did not plan to do all that we discussed and that I paid for. He gave me an option to have my work done for less money by having a local and not using the surgery center and anesthesia. Never did he mention on cutting back the work we discussed. To add insult he said I could have the work for 3,000. extra but he would not do it free. Get it in writing with this guy. I found him to be insulting and unprofessional. He suggested I could not really afford his service but I in fact had paid in full up front. I made an appointment with another Dr who made a contract and itemized every procedure.

Phenomenal surgeon with a great staff and bedside manner!!!

Dr. Holds and staff were amazing! I had my lower eyelids done as a cosmetic procedure. Everyone was helpful, kind, and informative. All my questions were answered and the procedure was explained well. After a couple of weeks I m so thrilled with the final results. I would definitely recommend Dr. Holds and staff. So glad I did this!

Dr. Holds has done 2 eye surgeries on me and I wouldn't even think about using another doctor. He is professional and courteous to his patients. The absolute best in the St. Louis area!

My experience was remarkable from the consultation to the final post-op visit! At 63, I had made the difficult decision to have lower eyelid surgery to correct severe dry eyes. Dr. Holds performed intricate tear duct repair along with bonus cosmetic surgery. Surgery outcome was successful and I'm very pleased with the results.

The staff was always friendly. Dr.Holds was informative and friendly. I had been looking at doctors for years. It was so easy to make an appointment and I got to have the surgery soon after my visit. It was just a great experience and it looks amazing!

As surgeon?? I'll never know. Dr. Holds was recommended and I was looking forward to meeting him. Unfortunately, I had over an hour wait (no one else waiting) & then only 5 minutes with him. I was already nervous going in, but sitting and waiting, form filling -all made the entire experience worse. He seemed uncomfortable with me asking questions about what the procedure would entail and never did give me any details to reassure me. It was even more upsetting when I went to the next room to meet with the office scheduler who seemed bothered by my questions about surgery and kept referring me to the 'Surgery Center'. She didn't seem to have time for me either. I mentioned this at check out and apparently they don't like that. Huh. AND I didn't like the hour wait. Hey doc, I have just as many awards on my wall, but at least when my clients ask questions, or seem anxious - I show some compassion and patience. It amazes me how many doctors offices today feel so impersonal/no compassion.

Dr. Holds and his team provided me with great patient care! I saw Dr. Holds for cosmetic reduction on my upper and lower lids, something I had been wanting to do for some time. The care during my surgery and after was excellent! My results were beyond anything I expected. I didn't look "different", I looked "refreshed"...as some of my friends commented. I highly recommend Dr. Holds and his team!

Do not go for cosmetic surgery. Actually he should have no stars.

Dr. Holds is the most talented surgeon I have ever been to. He is knowledgeable, kind, and does immaculate work. His office staff are the utmost professional and friendly, and there is always someone to answer your questions. His nurse practitioner, Ms Carr, does a wonderful job with her care of the face and skin.

Dr Holds is one of the few physicians who thoughtfully listens to patients concerns and discusses treatment options. Additionally, his office team is professional, pleasant and accommodating - they work to schedule quickly and keep appointment times (minimizing in office wait). Dr. Holds, on my first visit, renewed my hope that I would be OK and able to have better function of my eye, cheek and mouth. He did not promise what he could not deliver but he gave me hope that I had lost. His staff is wonderful and either answers my questions and or finds the answer for me. They are also very accommodating as for scheduling appts. since I drive 4.0 hrs to get there. Great team of people.
