No bad experience care provider... - No bad experience care provider and nurses have always been caring about of Amy problem I have

All their responses are copy and paste. They clearly don’t care about their patients experiences. so impersonal. Also I couldn’t get the meds I needed for pain. what are doctors for if not to treat you and treat you like a criminal and my other medications I could never get refilled because they take so long. Important meds you shouldn’t stop taking abruptly.

Patty the new PA that the office now dumps on all patients is totally clueless and incompetent. The new office staff is equally incompetent. I’ve seen Dr Hoffman for many years but going to change my primary care physician to one who’s office is staffed by true medical professionals.

You know, we love Dr Hoffman. His PA' s Have always been so nice. We have been going there for 10 years since moving to Burleson. At some point someone has GOT to do something about his front Desk office staff. I realize our world is a crazy sickly place at the present, but the level of compassion has got to improve. My mother passed away on Friday requiring us to drive 75 miles to the service. My wife has a driving phobia reqiring occational medication only when driving. Of course there was no appointment avaible what so ever under any circumtance for the next two days. Whatever. They talk over your voice, just DONT Care. Always, no flexibility. Its a shame. Firstly, I love dr Hoffman. He is an amazing doctor. His staff not so much. Luann is a mean, unhelpful woman. Try to only deal with him or a NP.

Took our son to see Dr Hoffman 3 times, all 3 times I expressed concern about my son not eating, the last time I told him and his nurse I was really concerned and they laughed at me saying toddlers are picky. In the end we moved back to my home country to get our son the help he needed and thanks to Dr Hoffmann not taking me seriously my son is now on a feeding tube, which he wouldn’t have needed if he got the help me needed when we asked for it the first time. Really don’t feel like he should be practicing medicine at all. I really hope no other moms out there is left feeling the way I felt after our last visit with Dr Hoffmann. We also called after that appointment and asked for a referral to a nutritionist which we were promised but never got. Scary behavior for a dr.

I would not recommend Dr. Hoffman or his office. Dr. Hoffman office staff are argumentative, are not willing to help if you call for things like getting a physical form filled out, even if your child was seen within the year for a physical. My son was going into an allergic shock and while driving him to the ER we called Dr. Hoffman’s emergency line. Dr. Hoffman returned our call and yelled at my wife telling her it was Christmas Eve and he was trying to spend time with his family. My wife said I’m calling because I was trying to get ahold of you or a nurse because my son is having a major allergic reaction and going into shock. We are headed to the hospital, he hung up on her!

I have been going to Dr. Hoffman for a number of years now. He is friendly, patient, and has a good knowledge of medicine. It is more difficult to get an appointment with him these days, but his P.A.’s have been great when I needed treatment relatively quickly. Any return calls have been done in a timely manner. So glad I found a family care doctor close to Cleburne.

Use to be a great doctor now can't even see him. Waited a month for appointment to only be called day before and told he's out would have to reschedule with another PA ,and that would be a few weeks out. Now basically all you can see in office is a pa. I understand with covid but it's gotten ridiculous.

Dr Hoffman so far has been good. The problem I’m having is the medication they want me to take is very expensive. So I have been calling trying to get things changed because that’s what I was instructed to do. By the dr. All I can get ahold of is the front desk people. Can’t talk to anybody direct. All they can do is send a message to a nurse that will then talk to the dr. It’s getting old having to call and wait for the five minute speech then only get to talk to front desk and wait for a callback. I am really Second guessing the decision to switch to this doctor simply because I’m tired of the loop around. It’s getting really old really fast. Lack of personalized care is irritating. Dr.Hoffman is nice, but We are self pay. I was quoted via phone 109.00 for my sons visit then they turned around and charged me an additional 60.00 because the Doctor coded the visit at a higher level . this was wrong and I should have been told before our visit. My original quote should have been honored.

Truly a professional staff and a nice experience. The doctor and nurse listened to all my concerns and treated them respectively.

Dr. Hoffman is a thorough Doctor and takes time to explain everything to you and is truly concerned about your health.

Poor service at the front desk. Everybody acts clueless and not really wanting help.

I have been waiting all week long for the doctor to review MRI results and now I will have to wait longer this seems to be the norm. They will get to go enjoy their weekend while I continue to deal with pain and no answers

Man. Those ladies at the front desk are as rude and unprofessional as it comes. They also told me I couldn’t have my own medical records without a payment. The further told me a needed a specialist but still have yet to release my records to the one I want to use (that’s not their recommendation). I sent a fax and requested to simply terminate our relationship, they have been paid and treat me like a criminal. I do not recommend anyone go to this conglomerate. Worst experience with billing. I went in for my physical - which is covered 100% through my insurance, doctor asked if anything was bothering me, I explained what was going, we discussed family history etc. I was told by the nurse I would have to schedule another appt. if I needed further care, which is understandable due to this only being a physical, I re-scheduled went back in 2 weeks later and paid for a doctors visit to talk in further detail and get medicine. I now received a bill for my first visit and I was billed for a physical and an office visit. Which is bizarre. If I would have known this i wouldn't of came back a 2nd time and paid $130.00. If I would have gotten the care I needed on the FIRST visit - I wouldn't mind paying for an office visit along with my physical. I have reached out to the office and no hope getting this resolved. I wouldn't recommend talking about any issues you may be having, getting refills or talking about family history during a physical or you may be billed for an office visit like me. VERY disappointed! Like most I would say having to go to the doctor's office because of an illness isn't something one look's forward to, but it's sure Great knowing when you do, that your going to be taken care of???? In my 63 year's, this Doctor and his staff are the best I have ever experienced! They are professional, careing, people friendly. They listen to you, explain thing's in a manner easily understood. I've never left their clinic scratching my head and wondering about what I was told or how to treat an illness when I get home. I never have to wait long to get an appointment with the doctor or PA. This visit was my annual physical and was with Dr. Hoffman. Waiting room time was very short before the nurse took me back to an exam room. She went over my meds, took my vitals and then Dr. Hoffman came in. If I could give them 0 stars I would... Jennifer Proffitt has a HORRIBLE bedside manor. She accused me of lying and taking something into the restroom to manipulate my drug test. After she SEARCHED ME she saw I had nothing to hide. My drug test came back showing I had not been abusing any illegal substances and she still decided to discontinue prescribing me my medications after proving I had not been using any illegal substances. I went to the Dr's office because I had a rash. I haven't been sick in many years. I was charged $325 for new patient even though he has been my primary care physician since about 2005. They billed my insurance then sent the 128.43 that wasn't paid to collections. I have a credit score of 824 and work very hard to keep it. I paid the bill but am concerned about the bogus charges to my insurance company because I don't get sick. Don't bother emailing Katie, I think it's an automated response. No matter how many times you call or have your pharmacy call for refills, they have zero urgency. Every single time I’ve needed a refill, it takes around 10 days, not the “24-48 hours” they claim. I had to sit in the office and wait 35 minutes with my baby until it got done today. Then, went to get my other prescription and shocker, they were still waiting on approval too. From last week. It’s absurd and being someone in the medical field for 17 years, I would never treat patients this way. It’s simply not their priority for patients to get their medications. I will not be going back. Dr Hoffman and RN’s are amazing but worst office staff I have ever dealt with. I filled out forms multiple times because they did not get filed billing is ridiculous you will be double and triple billed and they can not figure out how to run it through insurance properly. And will turn in improper bill to collections.

Be careful if you are told all you owe is your copay for allergy testing. Especially when we find out after the appointment that they were told by our Insurance company while my daughter was there that it would go towards our deductible. The insurance company has recording of the call proving it but will not release to us. Working on getting the recordings released. So disappointed.
