I will definitely have to agree with the review from Holly.. I was treated the exact same way..which was very disturbing since I was a referral from a very close friend for a second opinion. I was told by Stellar dental that I would need a root canal but I was not in agreeance with that so I went for a second opinion and Dr Herman agreed and said that he could fix the tooth with a filling after reviewing the x-rays. While I was so happy that he could help me.. after him mid way thru the repair process I knew something went wrong bc I heard the tooth shatter. At the end he said he broke the tooth and I would now need a crown. I was absolutely devastated.. could barely speak bc I was so numb.. but I did say as best I could omg.. I cannot believe this happened when you said you could fix this. He then started swearing and yelling at me like I was a child and told me I will not be charged and to leave his office. This was a total disgrace..the most disheartening thing I have ever been through at a dentist office. I left in tears.. If I was not numb he definitely would have had other words thrown his way for the way he was treating me for something he did wrong. Idk how an old school dentist can even react to an innocent first time patient in this way. This led me back to Stellar to fix the problem. This review has taken me awhile to post but once I saw what Holly went thru I just had to finally share my experience. If you are a new patient looking for a compassionate Dr that cares.. please go elsewhere. This man obviously needs to retire. Thank you Dr Herman for this torturing experience..you will never be forgotten.

The best. Dentist he really cares about his patients. Makes them feel like family. Thank you Dr Herman and Renee for all you do. And I did not forget. The rest of staff are amazing

Went to Dr. Herman after being asked to "join" another practice with a healthy upfront payment to profess "loyalty", after having paid them an enormous amount of money for work over a two year period.The work was satisfactory but to then have to pay just to walk in the front door was more than I could digest. Very glad that the other practice was so rediculous. Dr. Herman is phenomenal. Have had nothing but super results, no pain, and a very knowledgeable and amiable staff. Have recommended others here and they are well satisfied also. Wish I had met him years earlier, however, good things come to those in waiting!!! I have been a patient of Dr. Herman for many, many years and I will never leave him. He and his staff (with him for many, many years as well) take very good care of every patient that walks in the door. I recommend him to all my friends and they are just as happy with him as I am. Keep up the great work!

Having been in the dental industry, I can say with confidence, that the quality of care received by Dr. Herman and his staff is second to none!! There are dozens of dentists between my house and his office, but I wouldn't trust my dental health to anyone else. The care I receive is worth the drive. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Herman has been my dentist for many, many years and I would never leave him. I cannot say enough good things about him and his staff (most of whom have been with him for many, many years also). I have recommended him to all of my friends and they have all been just as happy with him as I have. Keep up the great work!

Dr. Herman is not only very kind! But really knows his stuff! He is up to date with all the new techniques and equipment. I wish I would have found him when I was younger! But now my teeth feel great! Smooth, clean, not sensitive and healthy. Best dentist I have ever had!!

Dr. John Herman, family and employees are exceptional in every way! My husband and I have gone to this wonderful, professional dentist for many years.He is very kind and considers the pain factor and gets rid of it!!! I have a mentally handicapped sister who doesn't really understand. He and his employees including Paula at the front desk totally seem to understand! My sister loves Dr. Herman and all his professional employees-they handle my sister with special care! Thank you Dr. Herman and everyone!!!
